Organ Donors
#1
I just read a story about an 18 year old girl that donated a kidney to the childn (18 months) of a family friend. I also have a friend who's husband was a recipient of a kidney from a co-worker.

Would you donate a kidney or part of your liver to someone? A non-family member or a family member but not one of your own children?

I would. The only thing that would hold me back is the thought what if one of my own children needed a kidney and I couldn't give him one because I already gave one to someone else. Of course I realize you have to be a match and all that. But say it's a given that you are a match, would you do it?

There are plenty of places to harvest organs around the world.

I'm a donor on my DL.

once I'm gone I don't give a shit what they do with what's left.

No I would pussy out and run away to the Bahamas.

Of course I would donate if I was a match.

A twist on the question - If you could sell an organ, would you?

Deep thoughts by Ramsey.

For a family member I most definitely would. For a stranger it would take some real long thinking. If I didn't, id probably feel guilty, you essentially hold their life in your hands, what if you say no and they die waiting for someone else? Id always feel as if I murdered someone who asked me for help.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.

Would you sell an organ though? Sometimes I think I would if my family really needed the money. But then I think what if I did sell a kidney and then one of my kids ended up needing one.

It's very easy to not have this problem, don't go get cross matched before you're about ready to die.

if a family member asks then the only right thing to do is see if you are a possible donor.

I'd donate my dick, but they'd have to build a new wing for storage.

Here's a great story about a worker who donated her kidney to her boss... who later fired her.

I doubt i'd sell one but i would give one to a dying friend or family member if it was not at the cost of my own life.
