Good news in my state too. We've now got a Democratic House and Senate after last night, to go with our buffoon-of-a-Governor, Mark Dayton (when he was a U.S. Senator in 2002, he locked up his office and hightailed it back to Minny after the anthrax scare). Pussy.

We're already in the top-5 for highest taxed states and that'll only get worse.

My wife keeps asking why we don't move to Montana? Well, they too, just elected a Democratic Senator. Great.

Good question; very true.

Either the black spike-heeled head-board drapers, the clear tarantula-healed hooker platforms, or the aluminum industrials (the last ones are my personal favorites). Oh, and NightOwl gifted me with some very cool open-toed pink zipper pumps that could be fun.

I'm working from home all day today (fingers crossed) and not gettin' dolled up, so barefoot is another perfectly good and practical option. And, the hat is not coming off, btw. I like you, but I brush my hair for no man today.

I wonder if anything will change or if we'll have 4 more years of partisan gridlock. I can't fathom that. It seems like there's going to have to be some reaching across the aisle. We've got the fiscal cliff looming, Iran...

My hope is that the Republican party received the message. I think the election results are a reflection of the hard-line stance of the Tea Party.

Independents, I believe, were seriously turned off by what they (Tea Party) represent, and instead chose the more moderate road.

Let's hope legislators care more about this country, than their little pocket of special interests that got them elected.

Wow. I hadn't heard that. I know a lot of Republicans viewed Romney as a RINO but I would have thought they'd get out and vote for him anyway if for no other reason than to vote against Obama.

Yesterday morning, I thought Romney was going to win it.
