Eileen is always there to lend her sister a hand.

Still, Eileen is truly dangerous.

Word has it that she walks all over grandpa Matt, constantly tries to one up her cousin Peg, and scares the piss outta her Uncle Dick.

This is such a nice story. Kudos to all of you who make sacrifices for your kids. As we all well know, not all parents do.

A Southern California university has awarded an honorary degree to the mother of a quadriplegic student after she attended every class with him and took his notes while he pursued his Master of Business Administration.

Judy O’Connor, a retired elementary-school teacher, pushed her son Marty in his wheelchair for him to receive his degree during commencement Saturday at Chapman University in the Los Angeles suburb of Orange.

Then, a choked-up graduation announcer said the school’s faculty, administrators and board of trustees had decided to give her an MBA. The idea for the surprise honorary degree came from her son.

This is a really nice story about a homeless vet who spent his last $20 to help a stranded random stranger.

She in turn helped him back by raising donations for him on GoFundMe. Now, he plans on donating most of the money she raised for him to help out other vets.

Johnny Bobbitt Jr. seems like a great guy who hit hard times. I hope he gets back on his feet.

The video above is a couple of days old. The donations have now exceeded $300,000. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...rward.html

Awesome story, so heartwarming. When the story was first published it was reported that all the guy wanted was a job with Amazon and the head guy with Amazon in Jersey tweeted that they were interested in him, he said they were hiring. I sure hope something comes from that.

Great story and it just goes to show that everyone has generosity inside of them somewhere... maybe even Biggie.

Jewel has a great song called ‘Hands’.

One of my favorite lines is, “In the end, only kindness matters.”

Really, in our lifetime, isn’t that what we’d hope to be remembered for?

Well, he did a very good deed for someone with no expectation of anything in return.

And, he did serve our country and worked as a paramedic before going off the grid last year.

So, hopefully, he can use some of the donation money to clean up his act, get drug rehab or mental health counseling, and turn things around.

If he instead blows it on drugs or gets in more trouble with the law, at least he was given an opportunity that a lot of homeless drug-addicted vets never get.

Wash your underwear and that smell will probably go away Biggie.

If the story is bullshit, it will come out.

For now, I don't have any reason to disbelieve the account of the woman and her boyfriend.

Well, the initial story turned out to be true.  Bobbitt was a homeless veteran who did give his last $20 to help the young woman.

And, the young woman and her boyfriend did raise $400,000 to assist Bobbitt in getting his life together.

BUT, now they're in a legal dispute.  The couple says that Bobbitt was spending tons of money on drugs so they cut him off from direct access.

Bobbitt hired a lawyer and claims that the couple spent half of the GoFundMe donations on themselves.  The couple denied it, but investigators hauled off a brand new BMV from their house and say they spent some of the donations on luxury items and vacations.

Today, the couples' attorney said that he expects that one or both of them will be indicted.
