SUPREME COURT: JUSTICE SCALIA DEATH AND SCOTUS CHANGES
I really didn't see anything wrong with what I posted but believe whatever I said would be attacked in retrospect, it was to soon after the defeat of their ideology. What may be needed here is a "participation" trophy.   55

Well, Mags, there is no comparison between Larry Nassar's sexual abuse of hundreds of girls under the guise of medical treatment and any of the events surrounding Kavanaugh.

The young teen girls did not allow themselves to be abused because they wanted gold medals, as you appeared to suggest.

And, there's no evidence whatsoever that the girls' parents allowed their children to be sexually abused because they cared more about gold medals than they cared about their daughters, as you later claimed/clarified.

The parents of the girls are more similar to the parents of boys abused by Catholic priests -- the abuser was in a highly trusted position and was assisted (wittingly and sometimes unwittingly) in serial abusing by Church officials. The Catholic parents weren't responsible for the abuse of their little boys either.

And, no women's movement or political party led to Nassar's reputation being smeared, as you believe is the case with Kavanaugh.

Nassar's terrible crimes have nothing to do with 'the defeat of ideology', or Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation, or politics. That's my point.

Yes. She is dishonest, immoral and slimy. This is simply proof of the lengths she will go to pretend to misunderstand/misinterpret/not comprehend something written so she can go on a retarded feeling based Social Justice Warrior rant.

She is a Snowflake.

Nothing clever, noble, decent about her methods. It is immoral, and intellectually dishonest.

None of which has anything to do with 'the defeat of ideology' or Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation. That's the point.

He never "appeared" to suggest that and only a fucking idiot would think so. You are not a fucking idiot and you do not think so. The question is, "Who are you trying to kid and why?"

Why are you immorally implying something he never said, implied, suggested or inferred? Why are you being deliberately dishonest?

It is pretty slimy.

I'm debating the points of what YOU posted and you're playing 'male victim' and acting as if you never said it.  The only display of tender sensibilities (or anything like that, at least) is coming from you.

Here's what you posted, again:
The womans movement is great and it did put Nassar away after diddling 300 Olympiad hopefuls. Even though they did report the findings the hope of getting a gold medal was more powerful. Much like a starlet lettin Weinstien use his power to get sex. Why didn't they report him? Because the end product would be worth it. I believe 98% of men are respectful of women but thats my belief. Hopefully more women stand up and voice their outrage louder in the future.

You reference 300 Olympiad hopefuls and say that getting a gold medal was more powerful than reporting being molested/assaulted (or 'diddled', in your mind).  No mention of 'adults' or 'grown ups'.

You do not mention the girls' parents, who you later claimed you were clearly blaming in that post instead of the girls (though the parents were conned and victimized as well).

You do not mention the Olympic and University staff or any other adults who received dozens of reports about Nassar and either didn't investigate enough to know he was lying or looked the other way, though you now claim you were clearly blaming 'adults' or 'grown ups' in that post.

You only mention the Olympiads and compare the situation to starlets who you insist 'let Weinstein get sex from them' in exchange for rewards and then lied about it. How does that relate to Nassar and his victims?

He said they reported it. He doesn't say to who but I imagine it would be to an adult.Who the fuck else would they have reported to? And obviously the adults they reported it to didn't give a shit. You are definitely twisting his words around.

I wasn't twisting his words around sal. I already acknowledged and explained what that sentence appeared to suggest, to me.

"Report the findings". Findings sounds to me like the results of the investigation, which were reported widely, not a child telling a parent or other adult about feeling violated.

And, I pointed out straight off that dozens of the girls told adults at the Olympic Committee, University, or their parents. That's when Mags said he blames the parents not the girls.

In any case, I don't think anything that happened with Nassar is comparable to the Kavanaugh allegations and aftermath (nor the Weinstein accusers).

Yup. They "adults" reported it....belatedly...after the 300 Olympian hopefuls had been diddled. Why belatedly? Because the adults were more concerned with gold medals. In the same way that starlets can excuse such actions because like starlets suspending their outrage of being hit on or sleazed on or molested or worse BECAUSE there is a reward, adults holding off from reporting this because there is a potential reward for them not reporting abuse of 300 Olympian hopefuls. He hopes that in future that the adults stand up in greater number and sooner.

I think the reading in the narrative flow is pretty easy to read. Why HoTD pretends otherwise is fucking unbelievable. I can't believe Duchess was of the impression she was not a liar.

Nope you are lying straight up and you were happy to imply he was a rape apologist or believed men should be able to molest children. You did not believe it but you wanted to virtue signal and pretend moral indignation.

You are a slimeball. Really repugnant.

Quick question. Did you give him the benefit of the doubt and ask whether he meant what you were pretending he meant or did you just decide to accuse, smear and say you had his words and your "interpretation" was fact? Why is that?

It is this kind of fervour and righteous indignation that has innocent men accused of all sorts. Look at how quickly and based on nothing you were prepared to smear Maggot as a rape apologist and supportive of child abuse.

OWN YOUR WORDS!

No, many of the parents confronted Nassar or reported it at the time.

Unfortunately, Nassar was a good liar, a respected gymnastics doctor/official, and was able to convince parents and other officials that it was 'medical technique' when it was really just molestation (to which he later confessed).

Some of the officials probably knew (or should have known) that Nassar was full of shit after the complaints started piling up and didn't bother to get to the bottom of it because they wanted to win. I agree with that. 5 or 6 of them were fired, some are being sued, and I believe one was charged.

See, that's what i was saying the same with Wienstiens victims. They were passive because the end result would be good for their careers. A person in power using that power to manipulate. I'm just surprised you would think I was trying to say what Nassar or Weinstien did was OK. I'm not that much of a nitwit and will just move on and forget about it. Sometimes you just read into things to much.

Why is it that you are having a respectful conversation with Sally and confirming and acknowledging her difference of opinions. Is it because she is not a man or because she is not a Conservative?

You did not seem overly keen to wantonly accuse her of being a rape apologist or a supporter of child molestation.

You do own your words don't you HoTD?

I didn't think you were saying that what Nassar and Weinstein did was okay Mags.

Your sentence wasn't clear and I'm sorry if I misinterpreted it to suggest the girls themselves let it happen in order to win gold. That's the only implication whereby your comparing Nassar's case to Weinstein's (who you think was given sex by his alleged victims in exchange for reward) makes sense.

I disagree with what you actually meant, as well. I do not believe that the parents are to blame. One of the fathers committed suicide after it turned out his daughter was right and he'd believed she just misunderstood the medical technique. The victim impact statements of the other parents are very sad to read -- they were completely fooled and carry a lot of guilt.

Nassar (and any of the officials who intentionally or negligently allowed him to get away with it) are to blame.

And, I still think there's no comparison to Nassar and Kavanaugh.

That's where I blame the parents, he would not be able to convince me it's just a medical technique. I wouldn't have left my daughter alone with him in the first place.

Sadly, Nassar molested dozens of girls with their parents right there in the examination room.

In the court testimony, the prosecutors covered how easy it was for Nassar to fool a lot of the girls and adults due to the fact that gymnasts are often touched, stretched, pulled, and prodded in odd ways as a matter of necessity.

Anyway, based on the victim impact statements, a lot of of the parents agree with you - they blame themselves for not knowing (and they hate/blame Nassar for what he did).

Yeah It would not be pretty if my kid said something to me about a doctor that was touching them in inappropriate ways. Feeling guilty and sorry about something does not take away the fact that they did not do anything.

Kavenaugh was accused of gang rape, rape and a few on the left even said he was a pedophile. No comparison with Nassar? I would be pissed if someone accused me of that. Who wouldn't? Then because he fought back his "temperament" wasn't judicial ?

Anyways it's done and over, move on dimples and fight another fight.

Before moving on.............I'd really like to know what prompted you to bring up Nassar while expressing your opinion that Kavanaugh was smeared by false allegations as a result of a political hit job, and your opinion that protesters of his confirmation are mobs.

Nassar wasn't falsely accused. His demise had nothing to do with politics. He wasn't a victim of women's movements. There's no protest regarding Nassar underway.

You were attempting to make a point. What was it?

The womans movement can be right sometimes and wrong sometimes. There were plenty of women that aliened with the womans movement protesting Kavenaugh and plenty of women protesting at Nassars trial. One is right the other is working off heresay and calling it fact. I was mentioning Nassar as one of the good things that have been brought out and rightly pursued by the womans movement, but I did not think I needed to give you a page of crap to figure that out. next time I will put it down with paragraphs appendages and sub categories cordoned off with sub sections and line notes for you to sift through.
