Ms Clangster, where were you when I need  a connection at the DMV? hah
I just put suspensions on records when a title is issued without a lien or to the wrong owner. I have nothing to do with registration. That's the front counter idiots.

It started off with me going up to the information desk as soon as you walk in.

I told the woman there I wanted to register my car, and she handed me a "lettered number" ticket, it was F318, they were serving number F204.

They called many other lettered numbers (I200, D248, E220, etc) in between calling "F" numbers.

When they finally called my number, I get to the booth and the guy says to me, you want to register you car, that's "Not" an "F" letter ticket number it's a "D" letter. If it was a "D" letter number like the woman should have given me, the guy said I would only have waited about an hour!

DMV, GRRR! Furious SNAKEland, (I HATE SNAKES) and NE!

Car Dealers are even bigger idiots but it's them and the front counter idiots that keep me employed so I can't be too mad at them.

Car Dealers are even bigger idiots but it's them and the front counter idiots that keep me employed so I can't be too mad at them.

My first two cars I bought here in SNAKEland ( I HATE SNAKES) I bought from Car Dealerships, so they took care of all the paperwork, including getting the cars registered for me. (Part of their "dealership fee")

My current "creampuff" I bought (it is just as pristine inside and outside as my last car I had, that was demolished by an idiotic duffus.

This time, I bought the car privately from my neighbor who actually bought it for his son, from my neighbor's dead friend's wife.
The guy died, and his wife didn't drive, so the timing was convenient. The car only had "51,200" miles, with new tires, and battery.
Perfect for my needs!

In the mean time, my neighbor's son didn't know his dad bought the car for him, and went and bought a sports car.

So my neighbor not needing two cars, called me in NE, and asked me if I would be interested in buying this pristine car,
he knew how I was with/about cars. I told him, if it in fact was in "pristine" condition I would be interested. He said it was.

When I got here, my neighbor didn't lie, the car was pristine, so I bought it on the spot, cash! Happy ending!

The End!  Smiley_emoticons_smile

So the weather forecast for today here, was total sunshine all day long.

So I had my pristine car washed and waxed this morning.

Wouldn't you know, coming home an hour ago, it "rained" for just "10" minutes, long enough to get it all wet!  52

Nice. I actually don't mind the cold weather as long as we don't get negative degrees and we don't get another 30 inches of snow.

Well I guess if you go by using a name, Peacock is as good as any. It's actually a pretty cool name because it's like a double action noun. I could be wrong here but who cares? It rolls off my tongue like a french "R"

Carsman, you need to have someone do your taxes for you. You need to find out how you can spend money in certain areas and have legitimate tax deductions. Only find someone though who is top notch.

Also, regarding cars in general, you strike me as an expert and if I ever had any questions I would ask you.

I do in fact have the same $375 tax expert for around 10 years do my taxes, and he gets me all the legitimate deductions  I'm entitled to.

What I need is a conniving tax guy like I used to have for years, (He always greeted me saying, lets make you lots of money)
He used to get me an average of over $5,000 thousand dollars back every year. And then eventually he had to go and die.

I get quite a bit by itemizing. I usually get back 350.00 for donating all my trash to Goodwill. It's better than the dump. I have to pay for that.
