I'm pretty sure there are bodily fluids and germs all over the place, not just on the blankets. And the remote was probally up someones ass at one time.

I don't like movie theaters, there's usually soda making the floor sticky, the bathrooms are usually disgusting and have broken locks and the asshole behind me usually puts his feet up on the chair and catches my hair on the sticky soles of his shoes. Oh yeah, and you can hear people chomping their snacks and crumpling their candy wrappers. And talking through the movie. And crying children.

You've been in the same theaters I have then.

Unless it's something that I am dying to see, I wait until it comes out on dvd. Much cheaper and then we can watch from the comfort of home without the riffraff.

WE don't have any "old school" cinemas over here anymore, they are all pristine multiplexes with 20 screens.

What? The theater here has a giant combo that comes with 2 44oz sodas, and the 1.5 gallon popcorn for only $9.99

And I had a coupon for $2 off

I can hit the Chinese buffet before 3:30pm for $6.75.

Seriously... I haven't been to a theater in ages, mostly due to the expense. EVERYthing is overpriced. I enjoy renting a DVD or just watching it on my computer more than the theater, and it's way cheaper. Plus, I have a toddler. Not cool to take little kids to theaters and expect them to sit quietly that long.

Doesn't everyone just download music, porn, and movies illegally off the internet now a days?
