People will opt for the government healthcare because it will be cheaper than getting it privately, everyone will go to emergency rooms for every scratch and nick. Independant health care will raise their rates to compensate for the loss and the 1% tax will end up becoming 12%. In the end you will end up giving half of your paycheck if not more to the government forcibly. The welfare state will look better and better as the years go by and soon we will see government housing, government factories and a curfew.
