RE: ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN - Mohammed - 08-12-2014

I actually had a lively discussion a short while ago with a local lawyer here called Bafana, who is busy on FB posting up all the ridiculous crap that is happening here, especially with AQAP. Once I disagreed with him, he came back at me with "So you are saying that all Yemenis are stupid?" So I answered him "No, I don't think Yemenis are stupid, I think your statement is stupid." Oh my, did he blow his top. Coming up with names and three sentences later *sniff* unfriending me.

And that is the whole problem with the Arabs here. How dare you think different and even worse, dare to say it publicly. No matter if Al Qaeda, ISIS or some dumb lawyer who can dish it out, but obviously can't take it. If you dare rub their nose in their own idiocy, they will cut of your voice which ever way they can, either by way of beheading or *sniff sniff* unfriending.

We were just joking with Jelly about that, the Russians kill the Ukrainians, the Jews kill the Arabs, but only the Arabs are happily killing Arabs. By now even Al Qaeda is not finding anything better to do but turn on their muslim brothers. Fucking A I say!

I sure don't agree with Israel and think they are a bunch of hypocritical fucks that turned whinging into a multi billion dollar business but on the other hand, if they don't burn down Gaza, Palestines muslim brothers surely will. They're sure at it like mad over here.

And I say, we shall let them.

RE: ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN - Duchess - 08-12-2014

What the hell is it with the beheadings? Is it because it's so shocking? There are certainly cleaner ways to kill someone. They must know how it horrifies the rest of the world.

Their afraid of the zombie apocalypse, and they have no clue as far as science is concerned, its all emotion. A pity because their ancestors were much smarter.

RE: ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN - aussiefriend - 08-12-2014

I googled guillotine in Google News and there are calls for it to be used in the US. It's inevitable, it will be used in executions.

RE: ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN - Duchess - 08-12-2014

Not here it won't. People would go fuckin' ballistic. There are already those who are having a fit because convicted monsters are feeling some discomfort as they are being put to death.

My take on that is: "Convicted monsters" should be strapped to a vertical board, and then "darts" are thrown at them until they slowly die!

Also someone sent me a youtube video yesterday and it was talking about how they are already there in the US and ready to go. It was highly secretive....apparently hah

Mo, regarding temperature control......this not possible in Arizona in the summertime (March-Nov) all water is hot. You wait until midnight when it cools down to 100 degrees but even then it will shrink some of your delicates...and handbags.

A 100 degrees at midnight. That would be a cool song title!

As would be "Shrinking some of your delicacies" by the way. You are clearly very talented in some ways. You are not in a band by any chance, are you?
Why, thank you for the compliment Mo! haha The closest I have been to being in band, is when my roommate brought home a singing group (The Four Freshman) who had scheduled concert at college in El Paso, Texas. They were passengers on her flight. Does that count? You young whippersnappers probably don't even know who these guys were.

RE: ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN - Mohammed - 08-13-2014

The Four Freshman? It does have a certain apocalyptic ring to it. Cool!

Well, there is a bit of a difference between the Guillotine and a 9 inch rusty breadknife. They are most certainly doing it for the shock factor. One could actually do a series with it called "The new Arabian Fear Factor". Try to remove your head out of that box of spiders and you'll see what's gonna happen next!

RE: ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN - Duchess - 08-25-2014

So, Israel sends a message to Hamas/Palestinians saying this is where we are going to bomb. Hamas says that telling us that is a sign of weakness, we aren't going anywhere. The bombs fall, people die and Hamas are pissed. The Israel Prime Minister specifically told the residents of Gaza that they intend to bomb every place Hamas is holed up, if you want to live you need to leave. If this is truly the case of how it is and people choose to stay then I can't help but feel they are too stupid to live.

GOOD NEWS -- CEASE FIRE REACHED -- NO EXPIRATION DATE

Both sides are claiming it a victory and blaming each other for the fighting and initial failure of Cairo-brokered cease fire proposals, but that's politics.

Snip:
After more than seven weeks of heavy fighting, Israel and Hamas announced a ceasefire Tuesday. And unlike the other ceasefires announced in recent weeks, this one has no expiration date.

The truce does not deal with core long-term issues on both sides. But Israel agreed to ease the blockade on Gaza, open border crossings for more aid to pass through and extend the fishing limit off the coast to 6 miles, according to a senior Egyptian government official.

Both sides agreed to return to Cairo later for further talks, the official said.

Hamas -- as it has after every battle with Israel -- declared it a victory. But Israel said that Hamas finally accepted the offer that it had rejected repeatedly.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is not part of Hamas and lives in the West Bank, thanked "Egypt and everyone who supported all the efforts that resulted in this agreement to end the aggression." "Together, we will rebuild our free country," he added.

Abbas is with the Palestinian faction Fatah, the longtime rival of Hamas, which has run the government in the West Bank. The two factions have battled and kidnapped each other's militants in the past but also repeatedly announced plans for a unity government, including one this year.

Israel has said its military actions destroyed dozens of tunnels used by Palestinian militants to smuggle weapons used to attack Israeli civilians. One airstrike last week killed three high-ranking Hamas militants.

Hamas later killed 18 of its own, accusing them of being informants for Israel.

Israel is bullying Palestine again. With these actions I find it hard to believe they have any interest in peace. They seized just about a thousand acres of land on the West Bank for Israeli settlers. They just took it, no matter that it is claimed by the Palestinians as their land. Fuckers.

To make another land grab igniting tensions with the Palestinians in the West Bank right after finally reaching a truce with the Palestinians in Gaza speaks volumes, to me. It again calls into question Netanyahu's previous statements about working towards a two state solution and desiring peace in the region.

But, he'd clearly backpedaled outta that in July when he reverted to his claim that the Palestinians can never be sovereign because that would be a threat to Israeli security.

He also claims that since the land grabs he's making are viewed by him as an expansion of existing Israeli settlements/neighborhoods in the West Bank that he's not violating international law -- a view that does not appear to be shared by any leadership outside of Israel at present (not that I know of, at least). The area now being marked for Israeli expansion is reportedly located several miles from the nearest existing Israeli neighborhood.

Anyway, the latest land grab is the biggest since 1980. The move by Netanyahu is being condemned by the UN, the UK, the US, the Israeli Peace Now Movement, etc... Personally, I don't think Netanyahu cares.

Palestinian President Abbas in the West Bank recognizes Israel. Netanyahu is pissed that Abbas recognized the Gaza-elected Hamas leadership this year, though Abbas' Fatah organization and the Hamas organization are not long-time friends. They have a long history of conflict and civil war behind them.

Netanyahu calls out...........well, just about everybody

"Israel was using its missiles to protect its children. Hamas was using its children to protect its missiles," Israeli PM Netanyahu in response to claims that Israel committed war crimes in the 2014 50-day war with Gaza.

Netanyahu delivered a harsh address to the U.N. General Assembly's annual ministerial meeting yesterday.

THE US AND WORLD LEADERS:

He criticized the US and world leaders for supporting the eradication of ISIS while condemning Israel for engaging in war with Hamas. "They evidently don't understand that ISIS and Hamas are branches of the same poisonous tree -- when it comes to its ultimate goals, Hamas is ISIS, and ISIS is Hamas -- both bent on world domination through terror, just as the Nazis were".

PALESTINIAN LEADERSHIP:
He struck back at Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who accused Israel last week of carrying out war crimes and waging a "war of genocide" during the fighting in Gaza. Netanyahu said Hamas committed "the real war crimes" in Gaza by using Palestinian civilians as human shields.

IRAN:
He argued that Iran is a terrorist state. Netanyahu said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's condemnation of the spread of terrorism last week amounted to "one of history's greatest displays of doubletalk." He accused Iran itself of mounting terrorist attacks all around the world, and lumped the country in with Islamic extremist movements. "To say that Iran doesn't practice terrorism is like saying Derek Jeter never played shortstop for the New York Yankees".

THE UNITED NATIONS (AND ANYONE WHO CRITICIZES ISRAEL):

He labeled the United Nations Human Rights Council and anyone who criticizes Israel as Anti-Semitic. He called the Human Rights Council's name "an oxymoron" and charged that the body has become "a terrorist rights council."

Netanyahu said the council's treatment of Israel reflects "the return of one of the world's oldest prejudices." "It's called anti-Semitism. It is now spreading in polite society, where it masquerades as legitimate criticism of Israel," he said.

Why do people have to be that way? Jesus. It makes him (and anyone else who does it) look ignorant. They aren't being criticized for being Jews, they are being criticized for their actions and for him not to see that makes him look like a dummy in my eyes. I don't care if the mutha burns all his bridges, let him stand alone.

Mass Murder Against American/British Jews in Jerusalem; Hamas Celebrates

The killings
Two Palestinian cousins armed with meat cleavers and a gun stormed a Jerusalem synagogue during morning prayers Tuesday, killing four people in the city's bloodiest attack in years. Police killed the attackers in a shootout.

The attack was the deadliest in Jerusalem since a Palestinian assailant killed eight students at a Jewish seminar in March 2008.

The killers
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a small militant group, said the cousins, Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal, were among its members, though it did not say whether it had instructed them to carry out the attack.

Neighborhood residents, speaking on condition of anonymity for fears for their own safety, said 14 members of the Abu Jamal family were arrested.

The victims
Police said the dead worshippers were three Americans and a Briton, and that all held dual Israeli citizenship. The attack occurred in Har Nof, an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood that has a large population of English-speaking immigrants.

The FBI will launch an investigation into the attack because three of the victims are U.S. citizens, a U.S. law enforcement official told CNN.

Israeli, US, Palestinian, and Hamas Leaders Respond
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to "respond harshly," describing the attack as a "cruel murder of Jews who came to pray and were killed by despicable murderers."

In his statement, Netanyahu blamed the violence on incitement by both Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and said the international community ignores the incitement.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said he spoke to Netanyahu after the assault and denounced it as an "act of pure terror and senseless brutality and violence."

Kerry blamed the attack on Palestinian calls for "days of rage," and said Palestinian leaders must take serious steps to refrain from such incitement. He also urged Palestinian leaders to condemn the attack "in the most powerful terms."

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attack, the first time he has done so since a recent spike in deadly violence against Israelis. He also called for an end to Israeli "provocations" surrounding a sacred shrine holy to both Jews and Muslims.

Hamas, the militant Palestinian group that runs the Gaza Strip, praised the attack. In Gaza, dozens took to the streets to celebrate, with some offering trays full of candy. In the southern town of Rafah, women and schoolchildren waved green Hamas flags and a loudspeaker praised the attack.

^ Masked Palestinians standing in front of a poster of Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal celebrate their attack on a Jerusalem synagogue during a rally in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Nov. 18, 2014.

Backdrop
Israel has been on edge with a spate of attacks by Palestinians against Israelis, killing at least six people in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Tel Aviv in recent weeks before Tuesday's casualties.

The violence has created a special security challenge for Israel, since most of the attackers come from east Jerusalem. More than 200,000 Arab residents there hold residency rights that, in contrast to Palestinians in the neighboring West Bank, allow them to move freely throughout Israel.

Much of the recent violence stems from tensions surrounding the Jerusalem holy site referred to by Jews as the Temple Mount because of the Jewish temples that stood there in biblical times. It is the most sacred place in Judaism; Muslims refer to it as the Noble Sanctuary, and it is their third holiest site, after Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

The site is so holy that Jews have traditionally refrained from going there, instead praying at the adjacent Western Wall. Israel's chief rabbis have urged people not to ascend to the area, but in recent years, a small but growing number of Jews, including ultranationalist lawmakers, have begun regularly visiting the site, a move seen as a provocation.

Bibi Netanyahu -- On the Campaign Trail

The Israeli Presidential election will take place in March.

Netanyahu will visit the US and make a speech to Congress two weeks before that, at the invitation of Republican House Speaker John Boehner.

Netanyahu will reportedly criticize Obama's efforts to improve US relations with Iran, in the process positioning himself as the protector of Israelis against their Iranian arch enemies.

In turn, President Obama has announced that he will not be meeting with Netanyahu during his visit to the US. That's a first. And, VP Biden has announced that he will not attend the congressional meeting, which is extremely rare when a visiting head of state is speaking. Plus, several Democratic congresspersons have announced that they will not attend the meeting.

Zionist ^Isaac Herzog is Netanyahu's political rival in the election. He's using the deterioration of relations between Netanyahu and Obama as a campaign focal point and blames Netanyahu for the problems. Part of Herzog's platform includes rebuilding Israel's partnership with its closest historical ally, the US.

I think Netanyahu will probably be re-elected by Israelis in any event. But, he's got some major diplomatic problems outside of Israel which were only compounded with last year's conflicts at the Gaza Strip.
