~Christmas books, Christmas movies~ - Lady Cop - 11-27-2011 what do you love? what would Christmas NOT be without? so many books and movies, but i could not fathom Christmas without Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'...all the movies and of course the book. the ultimate ghost story but it embodies what we mostly aspire to in the season. redemption. the picture here on the sideboard is my first edition that i treasured for years, but my brother does too so i gave it to him a couple Christmases ago. i hope generations in our family will revere it. i hope you'll post your favorite stories and movies~ RE: ~Christmas books, Christmas movies~ - Lady Cop - 11-28-2011 OK, who likes the Grinch? i'd smack those stupid little whosits too. Kudos to 'The Grinch' with Jim Carrey. Just watched 'A Wonderful Life' a few days ago. Great, great movie. I've already watched 'Christmas Vacation' twice this season. Watched 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' with the little ones on Saturday. Claymation, very good. My new favorite for the season is 'Polar Express'. Love it.
