I tried this thing called German potato salad, it was pretty good but I wouldn't know where to start to make a potato salad. I've never made it before.

I've made potato salad before(years ago), its not hard. Bacon, celery, mayo, salt, pepper, turmeric, white onion other spices. Peel and boil potatoes, cube the potatoes, mix all the ingredients together.
Much better than that abomination my brother and his friend made a few years ago. Potatoes, Italian dressing, and deli mustard. Blech.

Fried green tomato BLT's. I've had fried green tomatoes before, but never attempted to make them myself. My garden is full of them so I decided to give it a shot. They turned out very good.

I've never been to Rolling Hills casino, but heading there in a couple of hours.
Aside from getting away and and hanging out with my friend for a couple of days, I'm most looking forward to dinner at the steakhouse tonight.
9 weeks into the low-low carb eating plan, I don't wanna blow it. I'm definitely splurging on the calories though.

No baked potato with the surf and turf (I love potatoes), but at least a half a bottle of Cabarnet is definitely on the menu.

I started the low carb diet Monday. No beer, but I do have 4 small glasses of Cabernet at night. Now I'm going to cut it down to two maybe 3.
If you don't dip your lobster in butter and order a filet mignon which is actually a leaner cut of steak it won't be that bad. I know it's hard to resist the potatoes, I think that's my favorite fattening food. I like them every way imaginable.

When I had a salt water aquarium the feeder fish were called silversides. I hope you're not talking about them.
