You would think, although I was shocked to find my older next door neighbor with his leather vest and long grey ponytail was a fan of Michael Bolton.... Although not at all a fan of his music, James Blunt hosted an episode of a briotish quiz show called 'Nevermind the Buzzcocks' (hilarious show) and James was quite a funny man. Here is some Billy Joel for you: if you decide to listen, please hand in your man card at the door.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

John Mayer is shitty.
That is all.

Oh come on now, let's be fair to Billy Joel. Before he started driving into houses he used to put out some pretty damn catchy tunes. Movin' Out, Piano Man...and who doesn't sing along to Only the Good Die Young? Not his fault he fell victim to caricature. Happens to the best of them when they forget rock and roll is a limited lifespan game for all but a precious few.

'Crash Into Me' is still one of my favorite tunes to this day.
I wasn't a huge Mayer fan for his first 6 or 7 years, but I really liked his 'Battle Studies' album from a few years ago. Not a big fan of Blunt, but try the UK's James Morrison. I like his stuff. Also, I'd consider myself a fan of Springsteen. For shitkicks, try Ed Sheeran's 'the A-team'. Tell me if you like (anyone).

When it was first released, I thought it was a love song, then realized it's about a stalker. Still like the tune. Also, like Springsteen, for the most part. "The River" is my favorite.

Find Springsteen's 'Trapped (live)'. I think you'll like it. I actually enjoy some of his tunes away from the E-Street Band, like 'Tunnel of Love' and 'Human Touch'. Also like 'The Rising'. Didn't really care for anything on Born In The USA (besides 'I'm On Fire' and 'My Hometown'). Now, when you get a chance, listen to the Ed Sheeran tune I told you about.

I'll give Sheeran a listen, MS.

Someday, Fogelberg will be dead, and you'll say, "I've been listening to him for years, and I think he's great!". I am NOT a Limbaugh fan. A complete blowhard. I cannot listen to the FOX News guys either. I vote Republican most of the time (deviated in '96 with Clinton), but not because of idiots like them.
