Given the weather today... you could put some water in a container, wait, and use a hammer to get ice for free.

Or you could fill an ice cube tray with water and stick it in the freezer like us poor folk do.
Or splurge and spend $1.50 on a 5 pound bag of ice.

The hinge on my ice maker that controls the amount of ice it makes broke off (I wonder who broke it) and the ice overflows so I had to turn off the water connection or pay $750 to replace it. I'm not paying 750 bucks for a new one so I turned off the water and buy bags of ice instead. Hopefully the whole damn fridge breaks so I have no other choice but to go out and buy a new one.

I think I spent less than $1500 for my entire fridge. I'm frugal!
On the other hand, I just inquired about a private high school for my daughter. Tuition is a mere $36450 per year but it includes textbooks and a yearbook so it's a steal, right? Holy fuck. ETA: I just looked at another school's website and their tuition is around $12000. I think the first school is super small and the teacher student ratio is like 1 to 7. *sigh* Commando Cunt Queen

The bitchin' thing isn't even part of my fridge, it sits under one of the counters & it takes a fitted panel that matches my cabinetry & the panel on the fridge.

No...if I were I might fill my days like User does...the gym, the park, CVS parking lot, stuff like that.

Where the hell do you find a handy man (besides the yellow pages)? I swear, I'm thinking about picking up an illegal outside of Home Depot. The guys in the phone book charge upwards of $75-$150/hr.!
I'm looking on Craigslist. One guy advertises: I will do you hard labor! Shit. Commando Cunt Queen

I'd like to have less days like today. I'm trying to relax but I'm a bit stressed because I have to drive to Massachussetts tommorrow and take a 1.5 hour postal exam for the postal carrier position I applied for.

I wish you much good luck. *fingers crossed* Were you able to find any examples of the test online so that you could study for it?

They send you an info packet with test sample questions and what you need to bring with you to the exam when you schedule to take the test. |
