That's ^^^^^^ getting a bit of mileage today. Some are wondering about the apostrophe, others are wondering if that's how he spells little. There's more but you get the idea.

I always loved Quayle’s ‘potato’ with an ‘e’ and Bush Jr’s ‘mis-remembered.’

Ironically, he wasn't incorrect - but you'd never know it.
It was used as a correct spelling through much of the 20 th century, according to Oxford Dictionaries

If we have any future presidents they will all have to thank this moron for lowering the bar so much.

You wish. The Marmalade Mess is doing more to build Obama into one of the greatest presidents of all time than Obama himself could do. He was a decent president. Trumpethead is making him a legend.

I can see the economy doing great. Trump knows money talks and bullshit walks. I'm glad the rose colored glasses have been ripped off peoples heads.

Obama is busy shooing away the pigeons that are roosting now. Time will tell. But he is playing "escape from Washington" today.

President Trump has been busy signing Executive Orders over the last couple of days because he can't get the Congress, both houses of which are majority ruled by his own party, to put together or push through policies needed to turn his legislative campaign promises into realities.
It's ironic, but not surprising, that Trump is using Executive Orders far more than did Obama after having mocked Obama's competence for using them at all.
Anyway, President Trump couldn't get the Republicans to agree on a health care policy to replace Obamacare, so he signed EOs that remove some of the requirements on insurance companies, allow purchasing of policies across states, and remove government supplements to low income individuals on silver plans. It's now Trumpcare and Trump alone owns it, whether it's a success or failure.
President Trump also decertified the Iran Nuclear Agreement -- against the advice of his senior advisors and our allies, and despite the fact that all inspection bodies agree that Iran has been compliant with the terms of the agreement since its inception.
Trump, who calls the agreement 'the worst ever negotiated', wants there to be a forever clause, requirements regarding sponsoring groups labeled by the U.S. as terrorists, and restrictions on Iran's ballistic missile program. I guess he could negotiate separate agreements on those topics and leave the working nuclear agreement as-is since he's such a great negotiator, but that's not happening.
Today Trump ordered the Congress to fix the Iran Nuclear deal or else he'd nix it altogether. I doubt he'll get the Republican Congress to agree and get the deal 'fixed' according to his definition. And, I doubt the deal will get nixed unless Trump is willing to lose key parts of his cabinet and key allies. But, I do think using the media to go through the motions on TV is an effective means by which to keep his core base loyal, even though it makes the U.S. unloyal when it comes to agreements and our partnerships with key allies.
The stock market and economy have been performing very well so far into Trump's presidency though. That's a good thing.

Nothing of any substance is going to get done this year but it hasn't stopped him from saying that if he had a schedule he'd be far ahead of his plan. The reality is, he DID have a schedule and nothing he outlined has been accomplished.
Yesterday he said he talked to the president of the Virgin Islands.
I agree with Rex Tillerson. Ahahahaha!

I sure hope Congress can come up with legislation that improves, or at least doesn't worsen, health care access and affordability for all, not just the young and healthy.
Based on what I've read however, what Trump is pushing will result in fewer people having access to affordable coverage, especially the most vulnerable (seniors, children and those with pre-existing conditions).
As for the Iran Nuclear Deal, it's not a deal between the U.S. and Iran alone. Europe, Russia, and China all support the current deal and don't agree with Trump's ultimatum. I don't see how the U.S. Congress even has the power to pull off what Trump is demanding.

The reports that Tillerson called Trump a fucking moron following a meeting on nuclear weapons were kind of funny.
But, I wish Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC and the CNN anchors would let it go already. To me, it's news that goes towards the stability of the cabinet but it's not worthy of constant repetition.
I know the inside sources gave accurate info to the reporters because Tillerson had to hold a press conference praising the president afterwards and he still didn't deny having said it (it would likely be on internal record).
So, he said it and he doesn't want to confirm or deny it. Time to move on, in my opinion. Reporters are only undermining Tillerson's credibility to keep hammering on it.
This morning on Face the Nation, Jake Tapper grilled Tillerson about it. Tillerson again said he wasn't going to confirm or deny it and that he thought it was petty.
There was some international policy information provided by Tillerson during the interview. I hope CNN focuses more on those kinds of issues moving forward.
(Edit: Tillerson was on 'State of the Union' with Jake Tapper, not 'Face the Nation')

I agree with all of that, as far as I'm concerned it's old news. I'd like to hear some things with substance rather than trump is a moron (I already know that) and does Rex still have his balls.
I don't see much happening in regards to legislation before the new year. There's a lot being said about tax reform but I've seen nothing that resembles a plan. I saw a graph yesterday showing what's going to happen with healthcare and it appears the biggest negative effect will be in states that trump refers to as his. Go figure.

So sorry Duchess, I accidently deleted your Larry Flint post when attempting to respond to it!
Do you think Flint’s public offer of $10 million to anyone with impeachable info again Trump is ‘going after the wrong person’ because you think he should be targeting someone(s) already on the record instead?

It's okay. Not a problem!
The House & Senate are needed to impeach trump, if they were true to their Republican values they would have already started proceedings given what's already out there. I think Flint would have been better served in using his money going after Mitch McConnell/Paul Ryan. I don't have a plan or an idea in mind for that, I only know it would take one or both of them to get the ball rolling. It's a waste of time and money going after trump.

Thanks Duchess. Now I get your drift.
Trump and Bannon are already going after Ryan and McConnell themselves. Paul and Mitch are members of “the establishment” dontchaknow? ‘)
I don’t think Flint or anyone else has the ability to weaken Trump by way of the majority leader and/or the speaker at this point. The conservative + religious + nationalist extremists are the loudest and strongest voices in the republican party right now. They’re the ones who never fail to vote.
In my opinion, they’re the reason Trump occupies the White House and they’d side with Trump no matter what he does........so long as they believe he’s committed to serving their agendas.
Rebublican congresspersons don’t want to piss the extremists off when 2018 mid-terms are approaching and Bannon is already putting out (really non-mainstream) challengers to their seats.
I don’t think Larry will be $10 million poorer any time soon, if ever.

To me, that is just the craziest thing, in regards to conservative & religious. I firmly believe everyone is entitled to support who they want, that's their right and I get it. The thing that I find maddening is the hypocrisy of them. Don't call yourself conservative and then spend months pissing away an obscene amount of money, firing up AF2 for example in order to try and make a political statement that everyone with a grain of sense saw through, don't have a piece of ass on the side and try to coerce her into having an abortion while presenting yourself as a right to life, against abortion law maker. The list goes on but I know you understand the point I'm trying to make. It's fucking sickening. Christian conservatives are some of the most fucked up people out there. There fulla shit.
