I went to do a little shopping in the big city before travelling back over the mountains and I was really shocked at the prices. AND THEN I made it back to my small town store and I WAS SUPER SHOCKED at the prices. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN VIOLATED!
I remembered that the stores around here usually bump up thier prices in the winter, it is like they are saying a big "fuck you" to the locals, but this year is fucking ridiculous. I could not believe the prices-I think it is a combo of Fuck You and Supply Chain.

Could you give a few examples of the before and after prices? We talking 25% markup, or more like 50%?

Well it's not just your local stores that are violating you. Items in the news.
Farmers are dumping milk, smashing eggs, and plowing under vegetables due to global shortages of truck drivers, airplane pilots and ship captains.
Food prices are rising at twice the inflation rate because widespread drought is killing both cattle and crops, while pervasive supply-chain disruptions are creating food shortages in many areas.
Several industry groups are warning world leaders of a supply-chain collapse due to pandemic restrictions.
As it stands now, "things" are likely to get worse!

Most of the issues have all been self created by the gooks in Washington. They most certainly are not a business friendly organization and really have no clue on how things run. They actually think that tossing money at a problem solves it. They shoot themselves in the foot then blame someone else for it.

Ihe Laws of Economics can be ignored for only so long before hell freezes over. Get warm blankets, you will need them this winter. The best part is some of libs will have to learn to hunt and fish to get food when the supply chain collapses. In the big cities the dopes will have to turn to cannibalism to survive; that is a win win in my book. Killing and eating the other libtards will cut down on the surplus population of you idiots.

How much snow do you get in the winter, Mirah?

I don't know about her but my snowfall has been weak. I haven't had to put my mailbox on a sliding pole to get my mail in 2 yrs but feel this year will be the one to have to put it on. It happens when it gets over 4 ft and the mailbox gets lost in the pile of snow. You have to stick it out 2-3 ft to get past the white stuff. I've had 3ft of snow on my roof before and like the waves on the ocean the 4th wave is always bigger.
I think we will get pelted this year but that's just my gut feeling and one has to prepare for that. Prepare for the worst, if its not so bad who cares?
I think Mirah gets more snow than me though.

I think you get more Maggot.
In town average is 34 inches a year.
The butte that I look across at had its first dusting today. It sits at 2275 elevation.
My boss who lives a couple of towns over and closer to the mountains had snow this morning at her house.
