Got bad grammar? Got typos? Confess!
Nope. I've elementary and junior high spelling bee trophies.
I lost the 5th grade spelling bee to a little, fat fuck just like you. I don't even remember the word that lost me the championship, I just remember being so relieved to be off of that stage while the entire school booed me. How humiliating.
I had ladies swooning over me and offering to carry my chair when I won the 6
th grade spelling bee. Wish I wasn't such an introverted weirdo fat fuck back then and today.

Do you both like to read? I ask because good spellers are usually those who do enjoy reading.

I don't know what one looks like. Raisins are dried grapes, what are currants?
I guess the currants they sell in the US are a variation of a dried grape, but a true currant is related to a gooseberry. I've never given so much thought to currants before. Thank you, Duchess.

You want to chime in on this, Piglet? I think true currants grow well in the UK.

I used dried currants, once, with a curried garbanzo bean and pistachio nut salad.
Meh . . . raisins would have worked nicely . . . but I wanted to sound and be all fancy-shmanshy.
Like when I point out "Did you like the addition of the capers in the egg-salad? ".
I'm shamelessly uppity that way.

My son's girlfriend is Venezuelan and he called me up one day and said that bitch puts raisins and capers in everything. I told him not to get into a fight with her about it, just pretend like you like raisins and capers in your spaghetti. How bad could it be anyway.

I think the golden ones are called sultans. Wtf, why not just call them all raisins.

srsly
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I looked up some purple carrot recipes as I know they use currants in them. There were 4. I don't feel like posting them.

The golden raisins taste sweeter.
