I have to agree with Dick. I think some people are born bad no matter how they were raised. Parents do play a huge role in how their kids turn out in most cases. However, people like my ex that are sociopaths are going to be evil no matter what. I always find it odd too that most of the kids that end up shooting the school or in that type of trouble come from decent families. Their parents did the best they could to raise their children right, yet they go off the deep end and the parents had no idea their child was so fucked up. Is it because they choose not to see it? Are they too busy working or with their own lives? I don't know. It's usually the kids with no supervison that are stealing and doing drugs but mostly getting into normal trouble and committing normal crimes. It's the serial killers that are the quiet ones. The ones that people say gee, he seemed like such a nice guy. Kept to himself but a nice guy.
