My daughter was taught about Christianity in elementary school alongside Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism.

Knowledge is power, why would you not want your kids to learn about other religions?

I don't object to them learning about religion, in fact I think it's very interesting, but I think it should be an elective in middle and high school when they can fully grasp it. Not forced on them in elementary.

They can't even manage to teach the kids how to write in cursive over here anymore, the last thing we need is to start introducing religious studies.
