Dear Grace,
We are excited to see you next month. We have been looking forward to your visit for quite some time. We wanted to let you know that we can still host you before you begin your journey up the mountain. With the recent outbreak of some strange virus in the cities, we ask that you use caution in your travels. You will be traveling by train and may be in close quarters with those who are sick. Please protect yourself and don't sit in any cars with a passenger who is coughing, sneezing or who appears ill.
I have arranged for a doctor to meet us here when you get off the train to check you for fever and any other signs that you may have been exposed. He is a very qualified doctor and I trust him greatly.
The next thing I want to caution you is about your trip up the mountain. You will again be exposed to some people who are traveling from many different places. Please continue to take caution as you are traveling.
Again, we look forward to your visit and don't want you to be alarmed, we just want you to be aware and use caution and common sense. If however you get on the train and get the feeling that too many passengers are sick and you don't feel comfortable traveling, we will fully understand if you cancel your trip until this thing goes away.
