I suppose Asimov will claim to be a god then a creator of life. It cant be hard to produce coded language, the word coded is important there. Coded means coded, someone created it, and then just lets it run, big deal.
Code in humans is DNA, from the moment life first set foot on earth our code has been developing, AI is just another off shoot. As for AI functioning without human involvement, nothing alive can live without a support system, can it?
How long will AI last, without electric or repairs?, we are all dependent on something. You dont mean that though do you. AI can function independently while being dependant on humans.
Whatever it produces will be like chicken shit, it wont be a Morricone or a Styron. Or a Shakespeare. Strangely, according to its creator it will want to kill us. So human. My interest would be engaged if AI gave birth, that would be something, even that though would just be another aspect of being human, not mechanical, and would look forward to it penning its first love song.
