DACA was a reach of Executive authority, but not a breach, in my opinion. No court has ruled it unconstitutional to date.
Obama used Executive power to put the policy (not law) into effect because the Republican-controlled congress refused to vote/act on it.
Now that there's a Republican president and a Republican-controlled congress....President Trump has flip-flopped on it multiple times, and there's still no congressional action.
If Trump uses Executive authority to rescind it, it will likewise be a reach, but not a breach, of Executive authority - in my opinion.
But, Republican politicians are so divided on the issue, I don't know if Trump would go there and it may well come down to the courts to decide the constitutionality of DACA.
