I think Trump can do some things right. Most of his detractors acknowledge that too, at least the ones I hear.
The problem for Trump's defensive devotees is that rational people don't believe he can do no wrong, and won't conform to their fantasy that fiction is fact if it's spouted by President Trump.
Those devotees fiercely defend Trump's obvious lies as truth. They declare Trump's absolute wrongs as rights, or as justified, or as someone else's fault.
When all that fails, they deflect or mimic Trump and pull out the persecuted victim card, "you HATE Trump; he can't don't do anything right to you!"
Or,...........they just label accurate negative reports about Trump as "fake news!", even when those reports are based word-for-word on what Trump himself said on tape.
