WTF is wrong with people? Gay agenda in Peter Pan??

I always get a bit of perverted pleasure in reading the comment sections on news sites like CNN and Yahoo. That is when all the ignorant people come out of the woodwork.
I was reading a review of the live TV showing of Peter Pan last week. There are actually people who insist there is some sort of Gay Agenda behind the fact that Peter was played by a female actor, rather than a male. Apparently they never bother to check the history to see that Peter has pretty much always been played by a female, for various reasons.
I decided to get into a discussion with one person who said she refused to watch because of the blatant gay agenda with the casting.
I asked her just what the agenda was? No response just to say it was a bad influence on our children.
WTF??? How many little kids even notice it is a girl? And I would doubt their first thought would have been "Gee, I wonder if I am gay?"

This has always been an issue that pushed my buttons anyway. Because I have never been able to get a straight (no pun) intelligent answer to my question "Just what IS their agenda?" Oh my, how awful, they want to legally marry the person they love. How utterly horrible. They want the same rights that me and Mr Bee have.

Now, I am not crazy about the flamboyant gays, the in your face ones, but still, is that a reason to hate an entire group of people?

Because the bible says does not cut it either. They must be reading a different bible than me, then. Crap, Jesus hung with 12 men, all the time. His closest female companion was a whore. He was 33 and never married.
