911 answers saying due to "defunding" of the police, no one is here to take her call.

For robberies dial 1, for burglaries, dial 2, for all others leave a message and you will get a reply within 5 days.

Next shown is door broken in, and then a falling phone hits the floor. Scary to say the least!!!

Due to police responding to riots! Sadly, the ad has merit!

That sounds a little fishy. The 911 centers aren't manned by police, they have their own personnel. I guess they mean the cops didn't respond after being notified of a 911 call.

Also, "defund" the police doesn't mean eliminating them, it just means less militarization so the huge amount of money spent annually on tactical gear goes toward mental health workers for callers threatening suicide, etc. I thought "defund" was a stupid buzzword for this, it confuses people and gets them riled up and it gives the Rs a great way to scare the voters.

I agree with that. It's been misunderstood from the very beginning and now a lot of people are locked in on that one phrase. I had to educate myself on what the intent was. Defund is one of the worst words they could have chosen to describe what their intent is.

I'm not keen on police departments being given military gear either, everything from tactical gear to armored vehicles and weapons.

Maggot, you're the one who keeps bringing up Flynn and how unfairly he was treated when the reality is Flynn was caught in counter-intelligence while our people were watching the enemy, but you never stop to wonder what he was doing with those who wish to harm us.
