A friend posted this on his social media page. Fear of the White Male going away. I wonder why it is so important for people to identify and hang on to that so much and to call it godly. I get where they are coming from-I really do. I recommend reading "Fire in the Belly. On Being a Man" it is a good book and discusses the importance of ceremony in our culture and how that has gone away. That may be a point-celebrations, traditions that honor the transitions of our lives. I think that could be important for both men and women.


My world and my God are big enough that we can honor the achievements of all human kind. I don't need to feel threatened.

That mindset is deeply disturbing and reminds me very much of an article I read this morning about incels. There's a hatred of "the other" and a desire to destroy it.

Oh brother. They lost me at "migrate to for free benefits". There isn't any eyeroll big enough. Why do so many of those people think people come here for free benefits. Most come to America for the shot at living their own American dream, a place where they can work hard and prosper, they want a better life for themselves & their children. There's always going to be those Americans who think immigrants are coming to take what they have. It's bullshit, it's uneducated and it's an unsophisticated view of the world and the people in it.

I think there is a problem with Progressivism that extols the value systems behind the Progressive Stack and the moral pandering around that that seeks to denigrate those presumed at the top and elevate those at the bottom without any assessment of the ideas of specific people or things they are elevating or denigrating is worthy.

Progressivism is poison.

On the other hand going to the other extreme and for instances driving the view that everything that all cultures and people who are not white/Caucasian and/or male are terrible, is equally as toxic.

MOST people are sensible enough not to hold either view and know that not holding one does not mean that they have to hold the other.

Things like it being okay to be proud of your heritage and your place in society and not have to hold onto any guilt or seek forgiveness to anyone else, is a good thing. Holding onto traditions and culture BUT recognising that you are a member of society and the culture and country that you are in. You are not a snowflake and you are NOT owed by your country. You ought to always seek to better yourself and be the best member of society you can be and you do not celebrate those that are not. No one is owed anything by your culture, country or society. Everyone needs to work to further your country's society and culture.

If you cannot, it is time for you to move somewhere else where you can fit in and give up the vestiges of your old country to fit in with your new host country

Every people on Earth has been barbaric at one point. Was Alexander the Great more ruthless or more of a megalomaniac than Genghis Khan? Was Chairman Mao better than Stalin?

It would be a pointless and ridiculous exercise to play whose race is worse and worse still to push a possible racial supremacist into a counter argument based on racial superiority narratives. It is the same stupid game he is playing.

Better arguing that people are people and that if you see a person who is black or white or asian you are not seeing their motivations, their interests, their hopes, their dreams and their life. I am surprised you misread what i wrote as badly as you did. I was not saying that the guy did not have racist or even white supremacist tendencies. Pull that plank out of the reply and it all falls in a heap.

At risk of repeating myself, countering a possible racist/white supremacists racist implication that every other person from every other race is shit, is not countered either intellectually or morally by say white people as a race, are shit.

The ONLY defensible counter is that people are not the sum of their race. Their race is a small amount of who they are.

My.experience is the three types of people who make racist attacks are fringe Far right, Mainstream Progressive Far Left and general racists. Most people do not, because they do not think judging people based on race is reasonable or anything other than bigoted.

I don't believe that people are shit based upon the color of thier skin. I also honestly don't believe anyone here thinks white people or any people based upon the color of their skin are shit.

The person with whom I was communicating with on FB certainly does hold racist beliefs and he is in fear of white man going away currently and in history.

I say there are far greater things to worry about than the pureness of a white society remaining. He esposes to follow God and be a christian also.

The Progressive Stack is Marxism repackaged. People are not the sum of their skin colour, gender or race. People who believe this are bigots. It really is not any harder than that.
