How many frying pans do you have? For someone who doesn't like to cook, I have a several, and a Texas skillet.
Frying pans are probably like cutlery, you only need a couple good ones.

One large frying pan. Probably too big for my tiny ass stove.

a bunch of cast iron pans different sizes maybe 5-6 and 2-3 in the kitchen. They have covers.
If I was to hit a person over the head i would pick the cast iron one, maybe the #8 I don't want to kill them just knock them out for a while.

I love my 6'' wusthoff classic, fits great in the hand with the perfect heft. I also love my chefs knife.

One time I went into the supermarket and some guy had these paring knifes that he was giving away, I watched him for a bit and he gave me one. I still have it and that was 20 yrs ago. It's still sharp.

I usually end up using the same knife for EVERYTHING
The only time it gets noticed is at family functions and someone says, "Well thats not the proper knife to do that with"

Yeah me too, six inches works great for everything. 8'' is for the tough meat.

It will be a long night if the tent pole is too short.

I use a serated edged knife for evertything! In fact I just cut some summer sausage and cheese slices up for a snack with it! I have a super big knife I use if I am cutting up lots of onions and other veggies. I know what the bread knife is.
I've never paired anything in my life! (That I know of)
