Matrix

I've seen all the Matrix films a few times each, but just got done watching the first one a few minutes ago. God damn that is a great movie!! I rarely watch movies I've already seen a second time or more.

It maxes out on how deep I can handle it intellectually with a super cool style, sound, everything. Perfect for me, anyway!

I am not crazy about Reeves as an actor. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy him, but I think he seems to get really cool parts in movies without necessarily being extremely talented or even the best one for the role.

The first one is brilliant.

I thought both of the sequels were utter gash though.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.

Really? Wow, I thought all three kicked ass.

The first one is amazing, classic and ground breaking.

The second one is a self important, self indulgent, overly wordy piece of crap

the third one tries to fix the mess the second one created.

Totally agree with ya on this one Liquid. The two sequels were boring and not even needed.

the scene in the second one with "the bearded architect" is easily the silliest scene in Sci Fi history, outside of THE ENTIRE Battlefield Earth movie (which is the worst movie ever ever ever made).
