They're still WRONG and if they were TAUGHT that simple little fact in school, it would help to reduce 'racism' as such. The best part of going to a large evangelical Southern Baptist church is the choir singing an old standard classic and watching the signing for the deaf in the congregation.

I'm agnostic and biblical stuff gets under my skin in a major way, but I decided a long time ago that when and if I had to spend time in church (for whatever reason), it was going to be a place with some spirit and enthusiasm. I like the churches where people get all riled up, dance, sing, clap, etc. I was going to a local church here with my ex (we were still together at the time) for a little while. He's a 'christian' (so he says) and wanted to start going to church on Sundays. At first, he talked me into going to a 'Church of Christ' with him... it was so interminably boring I thought I was going to have to start hissing and having seizures just to keep myself from falling asleep.

Then I suggested we try something more entertaining. The place I suggested was predominantly 'black', but it was like a scene out of Sister Act (AFTER Whoopi arrived) every Sunday. Pretty cool! The only really bad thing about it, was that the frigging service lasted FOUR HOURS. FOUR HOURS!!!!! By the time you get out of there, you're ready for a nap. ::lol::
