The solution is you ask either guard (it doesn't matter which one) this question....

"What will the other guard say if I ask him what door he is guarding?"

The guard guarding hell will of course answer "hell" because he will lie about what door the heaven guard is guarding.

The guard guarding heaven will of course answer "heaven" because he will tell the truth about the fact he knows that the hell guard will lie about which door he is guarding.

Basically each guard reveals what door THEY are guarding depending on the way they answer the question.
