The Beekman Boys! There is some talent! I like their new Cookbook!
It's "The Beekman 1802 Heirloom Cookbook" and they know a thing or two!
Yea I agree with JsMom "you might be suprised!"

Sausage has to be cooked before thrown in crock pot.

CASCO BAY LOBSTER DIP
from Yankee Mag
Start to Finish Time: 70 minutes
Yield: 4 cups
Make a double batch of this creamy dip and freeze some (before baking) to make a "go to" appetizer for any occasion.
16 ounces whipped cream cheese, at room temperature
1 pound chopped lobster meat
4 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1⁄2 teaspoon dried dill
1⁄2 teaspoon drained horseradish
1⁄4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1⁄4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
Dash freshly ground black pepper
1⁄4 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium-size bowl, combine all ingredients except almonds and blend well. Spoon into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle almonds over top.
Bake 20-25 minutes; serve warm with crostini or crackers.

I bet Philadelphia cream cheese is responsible for 90% of holiday weight gain across the US.

5 avocados
1 1⁄2 tbls. lime juice
chopped white onion
roma tomato chopped
big handful of cilantro
about 1 1⁄2 tsps. of olive oil (or omit)
about a tsp. of chicken bouillion granules
a clove or two of garlic
some diced green chiles or jalapeno chiles (I go easy on these or they overwhelm the guac.).
kosher salt to taste
If I get to the end and it still needs something, I'll add a tbls. or so of salsa.
I have been looking for good avocados since I read this ~ none. Dammit. I have never thought of putting the bouillon granules in the guac and I can't wait to try it. I have everything else, even a fresh jalapeno and red onion instead of white, but I can't find the main ingredient.
I may have to break down and buy the $3.99 each (fuckers) avocados at Publix. I am hoping the $20 dip will be damn good. I will let you know.

Amazing Ceviche Recipe...tried and true and always a favorite everywhere I take it.
2 lbs peeled raw shrimp cut in half
juice of 15 limes and 10 lemons
4 large yellow onions, chopped
at least 1-1/2 tablespoons of salt (to taste)
1-2 bunches of fresh cilantro
3 teaspoons black pepper
fresh chopped jalepenos to taste
Add all of it to a NON-METALLIC container, mix and let it sit the fridge
for an hour or until the shrimp turns pink. (acidity from the citrus cooks the shrimp)
Eat with corn tortilla chips, or like I do sometimes, a spoon. Its so damn good.
You are missed...RIP Lady Cop
