Did she smoke crack and OD? If you drown, your cause of death should say, "Water." I don't feed straight off the media tit like you do. I think about stuff for a minute...

The cause of singer Whitney Houston's death was drowning and the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use," the Los Angeles County coroner's office said Thursday.
She was found dead last month in the bathtub of her hotel room in Beverly Hills, California. The manner of death was listed as an "accident." Cocaine and metabolites were identified and contributory to her death, the report said. Other drugs identified in Houston's body were marijuana, alprazolam (Xanax), cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl), but they "did not contribute to the death," the report said. Flexeril is a muscle relaxant, and Benadryl is an allergy medicine. No trauma or foul play is suspected, the report said. The final coroner's report will be available within two weeks, the coroner's office said.

You did a Ramsey. Nice attempt? At what? Thinking? Yes, it is an annoying habit I have. Here, cow: How can a death be caused by both drowning and a combination of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine? Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky, professor and chair of the department of sciences at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, told HealthPop, that the fact the coroner flagged all of these causes could suggest an interplay of factors led to Houston's death. Kobilinsky, who was not involved in this case, said cocaine use conceivably could have led to a tachycardia, which is a sped-up heart rate, or an arrhythmia, which is an irregular heartbeat. Both can seriously disrupt the body's normal heart function. "They're not saying it was atherosclerosis, they're saying it's the cocaine in combination," Kobilinsky said. "That could very well have rendered her unconscious, and she could've become submerged and drowned." ramseyname mutherfucker.

cocaine exacerbated heart problems, she may have suffered heart failure due to chronic use. Los Angeles Times March 22, 2012, 5:23 p.m. Singer Whitney Houston appears to have suffered a heart episode before accidentally drowning in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel suite, according to coroner's officials who listed cocaine use as a contributing factor. The autopsy results were released Thursday after weeks of intense speculation over how the 48-year-old pop star died. The case marks another high-profile Hollywood death connected to drug use, coming less than three years after Michael Jackson died suddenly at his Holmby Hills mansion. Jackson's death resulted from use of a surgical anesthetic for sleep, and his doctor was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Houston had battled drug addiction for years, and the coroner's office found traces of several drugs — including marijuana, the anti-anxiety medication Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril as well as Benadryl — in her system. But the coroner's office concluded that those drugs did not contribute to her death. Cocaine did play a role, though officials would not say how much of the drug was in her system. Craig Harvey, the coroner's operations chief, said the toxicology findings "suggested chronic usage." "She could have had a heart attack," rendering her unconscious, and then become submerged in the filled tub, said Ed Winter, the coroner's deputy chief for operations. http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-...9750.story |
