What's going there, LC? It looks like a trench, is it really something for your garden?

RE: 2012 gardening thread

April 28

i think son planted some stuff outside already. i better advise him.

FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING... ... FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...
THE COLD TEMPERATURES COULD DAMAGE ANY SENSITIVE VEGETATION THAT IS NOT PROTECTED.
A FREEZE WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST TO THREATEN OUTDOOR PLANTS. THOSE WITH AGRICULTURAL INTERESTS IN THE WARNING AREA ARE ADVISED TO HARVEST OR PROTECT TENDER VEGETATION. ALSO... POTTED PLANTS NORMALLY LEFT OUTDOORS SHOULD BE COVERED OR BROUGHT INSIDE AWAY FROM THE COLD.

A FREEZE WATCH MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE. THESE CONDITIONS COULD KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

RE: 2012 gardening thread

I noticed last year that my high bush blueberries were shitty, this year they have blossoms all over. I wonder if they need a bad year to have a good year.

This is funny, poor things! I didn't know they had such a festival! I know the weather has been crazy overseas and here. Good you have a few of your own asparagus Lady Cop they are $3.69 a lb in one shop in Toledo.

I've got a small patch and it's so tasty!
