I think that is certainly a possibility. I believe, however, that this was much more personal. It just seems too hard core for a drug deal gone bad. IMO I think that JC was dealing drugs but I don't think that he was a "big time" dealer. I believe he was a small fish and wasn't flipping hundreds of thousands of dollars or even tens of thousands. I know that people have been killed over a $20 drug debt but I don't think someone(no matter how gansta) would kill in this manner for a $500 or even a $1,000 debt. I believe the guy that he snitched on a few years back sought revenge. I think that the crowd JC associated with (or more importantly used to associate with) view snitching as the ultimate betrayal. I think torturing and killing Lisa in front of JC was the ultimate revenge. IMO the perps chose what they felt would be the most physically and emotionally painful method of revenge and death. I think their plan was, of course, based on what they felt they could get away with at the time. JMO

TIFF was just charged with false info to LE in oct! Yes after looking at her mom I'm sure her childhood was hell, but that doesn't mean we can just ignore her current behavior and blindly believe what she says is fact. I don't know if she is involved or not, but b/c of her current behavior (current being 5 years to now) I have to at least question everything she says.

Part of what storm is getting at I think is that society must stop the pity party. It must stop saying "we will ignore your current behavior and give you the benefit of the doubt because your childhood made you like this. you get extra special treatment b/c we failed you in the past, even though you on your own are a drag on society now as an adult" I hate to be a prick, but to fuckin' bad. Adult, is the key here. responsible for your own actions. we all had something in our childhood that was fucked up. they need to shut the fuck up and get over it and get themselves and decide to do something with themselves. Yea, it will be hard, and yea, they will have to work to make it happen. thats real life. just part of the social contract. The easiest first step is stay away from the shit bags that are not going any where.

BTW I find it very scary that iraq vet didn't get the gansta slapped out of him when he served. usually the military really sets people straight. hence the boot camp style of juvi reform camps.

You sound like you were (are) a great parent...I have no doubt...I would like to think my husband and I were too however there are so many zillions of factors...the "luck of the draw", biological, the kids individual "perceptions", etc. that I don't really think we can accept the "credit or the blame" of how our adult children turn out (except of course if we were total degenerates)...I'm talking about reasonable people who try their best to provide essential, food, shelter, love, guidence, value education, etc....

By looking at Johnny's physique (wowsers- he was such a well built young man) and evidence of a struggle - I would say at least 3 strong men had to subdue him...

I remembered a case where 3 were tied up and murdered years ago and not even a glass was tipped over...when the creep confessed he said he told the victims "if you just let me tie you up" the maid will find you in the morning (was in hotel) and "no one will get hurt"...and they willingly went and lied down on the bed and even lifted their hands for the
bast--d to tie them up...then he shot them in their heads. I thought initially maybe they did that to Johnny and Lisa but then evidence of quite a struggle...Johnny must have really gone down fighting...God bless them both...

Horrible, poor LS, all she did was love the wrong guy, and paid for it dearly, more dearly than we may ever know! I have always believed this had something to do with JC and his "old neighborhood connections" and possibly M P Y too, because of the sadistic mode of killing. May they both get the justice they deserve, and it is good to know that LE knows who the perps were, those steak knives must have had a lot more to do with it...and I hope one of the perps left some dna behind to convict with and I hope they go for the death penalty, isn't there a death penalty statute in Ohio if it's more than one person?

OMG just imagine, if they tortured LS and made JC watch. When will kids learn that there are REAL payers out there who are sociopaths (especially what they did to Lisa!) and they don't play around, and that in the pursuit of illegal drugs+illegal money you will wind up in jail or or worse yet dead!

Perhaps Tiff could get an apartment of her own, away from the gang,
and ask for some psychological assistance. It is possible she
has Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome from the violent death of
her boyfriend. If this was the love of her life, she could be in a
real tailspin. Also, if she could just try to get off drugs, life would
look differently and she would see beauty in raising her children
and living a nice calm life. I am particularly worried about
birthing children whose moms have been on drugs. The rate of
failure to thrive and delayed learning is so great.

I would encourage the MEN of the group to start taking
care of their women who are bearing their children and
demand that the girls TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES.

Just a humble opinion.

Good find on the picture. It looks like Tiff is gettin ready to ash her newport on top of Lisa's head. On a serious note, the guy in the white atlanta braves hat is right next to Lisa. Isn't that the guy that was on some other pics with Lisa on the boat? Could he have had the burns for Lisa and maybe was a lil jealous of Johnny? I don't see Johnny and I find it odd that lisa would be in this crowd without Johnny. Unless he's the one taking the pic

Just a little something. I don't know if it sheds any light on the crime. About ten years ago a group of friends that had just graduated a couple of years before from Bowsher High School (same high school as a lot of these characters) murdered their friend for drugs. Shot him in the back of the head while they were riding in his car and broke all his bones and shoved him in a drain pipe. It took about a year for LE to get the whole case together but they did get a conviction. This was a robbery for drug money. Although, the method of murder is not the same it was still very brutal. I don't remember all the reports but I believe they also poured gasoline or acid on him. However, contrary to what several people want to harp on. Toledo is not a shithole filled in drug dealing criminals. We have problems like any other big city. (we are not a tiny honkey tonk town) But Toledo is not a shithole.
