Okay . . . now that I got that out of my system . . .
I've prepared 10 lbs. of machaca beef for my brother's office celebration.
Yes . . . I am a wonderful sibling and for my rewards I was invited to an attorney friend's Cinco de Mayo celebration!
Here's the rub . . . he is an anti SB 1070 attorney. Yes . . . he knows that I am pro SB 1070.
However, his Mexican National clients are preparing and supplying most of the food and the bastard knows how much I love authentic comida Mexicana.
Call me a whore, but I'M GOING! You're damn right I'd sell my soul for handmade tortillas and chili rellenos. Go ahead . . . call me a hypocrite while I'm licking the remnants of the last of the barbacoa or carnitas off my plate. Or wiping the scorching fresh salsa off my chin.
Sure . . . I feel a little dirty.
Maybe a bath with a few Pacificos will make me clean again.

We have a Moe's, but my husband is a weirdo and doesn't like Mexican food so I haven't mentioned stopping in there. There is a really good authentic mexican restaurant here that I can talk him into once in a while, but thats just because he likes the huge $2 Dos Equis drafts they have there.
