Yes...Aussie is better than everyone else. She's smarter than everyone else. Makes you wonder what the fuck she's here for...other than for our Mocking pleasure.

You don't realise how stupid you sound just because I have quoted it. I didn't actually go and do the research that ended up published in these medical journals. The 'users' that I know are not people I socialise with!

Nope...nothing stupid here, but you on the other hand are stupid and hilarious at the same time. Keep it up, the comedic value is priceless!

Testing hypotheses about the relationship
between cannabis use and psychosis

ABSTRACT
AIM: To model the impact of rising rates of cannabis use on the incidence and prevalence of psychosis under four hypotheses about the relationship between cannabis use and psychosis. METHODS: The study modelled the effects on the prevalence of schizophrenia over the lifespan of cannabis in eight birth cohorts: 1940-1944, 1945-1949, 1950-1954, 1955-1959, 1960-1964, 1965-1969, 1970-1974, 1975-1979. It derived predictions as to the number of cases of schizophrenia that would be observed in these birth cohorts, given the following four hypotheses: (1) that there is a causal relationship between cannabis use and schizophrenia; (2) that cannabis use precipitates schizophrenia in vulnerable persons; (3) that cannabis use exacerbates schizophrenia; and (4) that persons with schizophrenia are more liable to become regular cannabis users. RESULTS: There was a steep rise in the prevalence of cannabis use in Australia over the past 30 years and a corresponding decrease in the age of initiation of cannabis use. There was no evidence of a significant increase in the incidence of schizophrenia over the past 30 years. Data on trends the age of onset of schizophrenia did not show a clear pattern. Cannabis use among persons with schizophrenia has consistently been found to be more common than in the general population. CONCLUSIONS: Cannabis use does not appear to be causally related to the incidence of schizophrenia, but its use may precipitate disorders in persons who are vulnerable to developing psychosis and worsen the course of the disorder among those who have already developed it.

Marijuana only causes schizophrenia in people who ALREADY HAVE schizophrenia. Smoke it if you got it.

Cracker, I am about to undertake a huge amount of research. I am not searching journals now to prove my point. It is well established and understood that it is linked to mental illness. One journal with limited research is not enough to make a comprehensive conclusion. If you were writing a paper on it you would need many many more references to support your argument. Not just one piece of research.

Also, if you read the wording. It says 'it does not appear' it does not say 'it does not'. Also the research is dated in 2003, it is not really current. It is usually safe to make your references current at most, research should be no more than five years old.

RE: What do young people say about you? - Cracker - 01-25-2012

"Current Research" is ten years old or less. I learned that in graduate school. A real one, not some online shit.

Just say it's shit because it is an Australian study. That's what we were thinking. hahaha

All research is theoretical. Nothing is ever really proven. There are always exceptions.

Can't fool Cracker.

RE: What do young people say about you? - aussiefriend - 01-25-2012

These days it's five! I personally, wouldn't use older type research, i would be looking for something more current.

RE: What do young people say about you? - Cracker - 01-25-2012

You are a dumbass. It takes years and years and years to do a longitudinal study. Jesus Christ, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

You cannot fool Cracker. I'm not a tard. I can trump your education, so think carefully before you spew stupid stuff to me.

"These days?" I have a degree in this decade, asshole. I get one every decade or so.

Some of the stupidest people I have ever met have been in grad school. And most of them are annoying as fuck. I already do a job reserved for PhDs. I could pay 10K more and write a hundred pages and finish my PhD, but I probably never will. I get a great amount of pleasure from doing the job without one. I got the job through merit and a personal recommendation from a former boss and the tech guys and janitors love me because I'm not a snobby bitch. I'm just a smart bitch. I had to get a certain amount of hours and papers to do what I do now, and the PhDs aren't any smarter than Cracker. And they know it. They don't even fuck with me.

They used to say that smoking mj killed brain cells. But then they figured out that the experiment was flawed because they didn't supply the mice with fresh oxygen. It was the lack of oxygen that killed the brain cells in the mice, not the cannabis.

You can research untill your brains completely fall out, you're not going to find any proof that marijuana causes schizophrenia. It may trigger or exacerbate it, but it's not the cause of it. If that were true there wouldn't be the millions of people that smoke it daily without any problems for just the past 40 years, nevermind that it's been around for thousands of years.

RE: What do young people say about you? - Adub - 01-25-2012

I'm pretty sure that the research found that mice injected with the chemicals found in marijuana developed paranoid psychosis after being repeatedly exposed to cat urine.

The rates of schizophrenia have been pretty much level for the last 50 years. Kids with schizophrenia tend to smoke more weed than other kids, also noted in the studies, which give the false results she is quoting. She doesn't actually read the studies, just the abstract they write for lazy people.

Crazy people can't handle the loco weed. Common sense.

Aussie doesn't really know what she is talking about and her comments mostly reflect the type of ignorance found from a lack of familiarity. She also has what I call "taboo residue" stuck to her fat ass.

Illicit drugs seem to be her only real taboo. I'm afraid to ask if she has killed anybody in a rage, so I have to stick with that for now.
