I think if there actually is a donkey show we have a responsibility to watch it so we can decide whether or not there should be such a show from an educated position.

That and its A FUCKING DONKEY SHOW!

RE: the carnival is in town - OnBendedKnee - 07-09-2012

Donovan would humbly, yet severely disagree.

RE: the carnival is in town - Riotgear - 07-09-2012

I take the Constantine approach to donkey shows.

I saw it. It was bad. You shouldn't see it.

RE: the carnival is in town - Maggot - 07-09-2012

Well you aint Academy award material either.

RE: the carnival is in town - Riotgear - 07-09-2012

That'd be an Academy Awards show I'd watch.

You would be riveted within your own special glow. You could have a "wardobe malfunction" and give yourself that knowing smile of accomplishment or in a show of sheer desperation act coy and blink a bunch of times at the camera.

I knew what you meant, but it was kinda funnier the way Maggot ran with it. Would you really wanna go to the Academy Awards of Seubertia?

Okay, maybe it would be an interesting crowd and I'm now smiling thinking up award categories. Maybe I'd go too as long as there were no live performances. Smiley_emoticons_wink

So who's the victim in this horrible imaginary construct? Donkey or woman? Donkeys? Women?

Men?

The kids?

No doubt, the children are the real victims. They're innocent.

Nobody likes to talk about it, but there's only so much you can do to hide the ugly truth from society. As much as we like Gorilla glue, it's a painful ear and tail pinning solution (though affordable for these poverty-stricken families). I can't even think about it; it's just too damn sad.

I like fried dough and like the demolishian derby's. I really don't care right now as this stuff happens in Sept. when apples and corn are in season.

RE: the carnival is in town - BigMark - 07-26-2019

you don't want to see the don king show, trust me.

RE: the carnival is in town - Duchess - 07-26-2019

You have to wait until September for fresh corn? Daaamn.

Sometimes the middle of August.

RE: the carnival is in town - Duchess - 07-26-2019

Have you had any tomatoes yet? I've been getting fresh corn since around the 4th of July, tomatoes too. I don't like cantaloupe but he's been eating it near daily and I have some watermelon too. It all tastes like Summer and it's wonderful.

Through time I have forgotten how short the growing season is up there. I hope you enjoy the hell out of your corn, Maggottyboo.

RE: the carnival is in town - Maggot - 07-27-2019

I do not have a garden this year. It rained and was cold way into spring so I just said hell with it, let it rest a year. but there is always next year. I have not seen any corn out yet only stuff from other states.
