No its not. Thank God Adub never resorted to a smelly old peoples home. Just think of the nightmares.

Sometimes the smelly old people's home is the only way to go, dumbass.

If you can, hospice is probably the better way to go but if your loved one is just completely disabled without a firm prognosis, a NH is probably the right/best place for them.

It was like nothing I could ever put into words. When I got to her she just collapsed. My oldest daughter was home, and I had her cradle grandma's head, and talk to her while I called 911. Her heart gave out on the way to the hospital, doa. It's been six years and I still feel so detached from the whole experience. I dream about her bitching at me because I gave her sweaters away to good will. She's like in the closet just flabbergasted because her clothes are all gone. And I am walking down the alley in my church shoes. Trying to get away.

I feel very blessed that my dad left this world while I was stroking his forehead telling him it would be okay.

My mom was a nasty old one. She spoke her mind. When I got divorced she said something about me finding a bigger dick. And she was right. It was bigger. And less hairy. Not the dick. But the surrounding area.

The neighbor called her a grand old dame. She was a Leo. I'm a Pisces.

And you?

Well, back on topic, here is my mothering motto ...

Even though, I was raising you, I was still protecting me.

And today I made zombie scrarecrows with my grandson. Much more difficult that I thought. They are standing tall, protecting the melons and the strawberries. and I am itchy.

Right on Einstein. Just remember that when they lock you up and throw away the key because you are losing it. For your own safety of course. You wouldn't last two seconds, you pampered pooch.

My parents have both told me to just stick them in a nursing home if they lose their marbles.

Not sure if i will though.

My mom has told me she wants to be cremated and stuck in a coffee can in a hole in the ground when she dies to avoid an expensive funeral. No way that is happening. Not after all the shit I've put her through. She's getting a proper burial.

Both my parents want their bodies left to medical science.

Everyone in my family carries an organ donor card as well.

I'm afraid I may be responsible for that. I started it when I was drunk with that sappy stuff about loving your parents and taking care of them the way they would you. I don't really feel that way, I'd put the old sucker in a NH and forget about it. Out of sight, out of mind.
