NFL 2013 SEASON

You're not alone in that thought.

It's dumb. While I might feel like that, I'd step in front of a semi before I would let anyone see me losing my shit like she is.

So...Donovan retired an Eagle today but there will be a ceremony in September before the game in which they play KC. I have this romantic notion that they choose that particular game because Coach Reid will be there. Would you agree?

Sounds like you're on to something.

Megan Welter proudly served her country during a 16-month tour in Iraq. During her time in the military, she met women who were cheerleaders in the National Football League and decided to try out, earning a spot among the Arizona Cardinals' cheerleading team.

INSPIRING PATRIOTIC STORY

Welter was stupid to call 911 to get the boyfriend outta her house in her condition, imo. I bet he wouldn't have filed assault charges had the cops not shown up (though I think it's weird that he videotaped the meltdown).

From what he taped, it didn't look like anything more than a drunken jealous spaz to me.

Her mugshot is nothing to cheer about. Definitely wasted...

Wonder if she'll get booted from the squad.

Hahaha! That's how I see it too, Zero. That might be a 2011 game where Buffalo beat them 34-31.

Training camp was pretty fricken cool. Two observations - the field isn't nearly as big as it looks on television & neither are the players. I had awesome seats & it was kickass to see some of my favorite players up close. I wanted to jump out onto the field so badly, the only thing that kept me from doing so was knowing I'd be the crazy lady on the evening news. There was a line of media almost right next to me & I knew they'd film it. I'm not good at judging the number of people in a crowd but it was a significant number. I had never been to Lincoln Financial Field before and I thought it smelled like the fair. There was food every few feet, the only thing I purchased outside of the pro shop was a very expensive bottle of water. Whatta racket.

Looked like a ton of fun, Duchess!

I loved the pic of the QB's lining up to take simultaneous snaps, and all are catching the snap with their hands (at least Vick and Foles are), but #4 has totally muffed it and it's up in the crook of his elbow.

I'm guessing he's Practice Squad material.

I'm a fan of LeSean(sp?) McCoy. Nice running back (he's no A.P., but who is?).

Nice shots, Duchess.

Looks like it was a perfect day for camp.

I hope your Eagles do well this year.

P.s. The 49ers are going to win Super Bowls 48 and 49!!

I'll wager you a body rub with a happy ending that this ^^ doesn't happen.

Either year.

"Heads I win, tails you lose", that's the equivalent of your wager.

The answer is..."hell, no".

Just the two SuperBowl trophies will be reward enough for me.

Plus, aussie's spreading rumors that I'm a slut. I like my friend aussie and I think her recent animosity stems from being jealous of the attention you shower upon me (despite my many crush-crushing attempts, you masochistic cockroach).

It would be cruel to deny aussie your creative sexual propositions, and she is in fact on your short list. Could be a win/win. Take it down under and work it, MS. It's your best bet.

HotD, besides getting me all hot and bothered (as usual) has turned my attention toward bold pre-season predictions.

NFL Teams trending downward (won't post as many wins as last year):

Washington, Green Bay, Chicago, MINNY (I think we'll get to 9), Tampa, Seattle, Arizona, New England, NY Jets, Balt, Pitt, Indy, Denver.

Teams trending upward (more wins than last year):

DALLAS (with a bullet), DETROIT, CAROLINA (I was off 1 year), MIAMI (will contend with NE for AFC East), CLEVELAND (at least .500 this year), SAN DIEGO.

As you know, the NFL is so unpredictable.

I just don't feel like the Eagles are ready to take a big step (6 wins?) forward.

As you also know, I've been wrong many times before.
