The Death List
Don't hate me Mockers, no one is more devastated than me. I can't find the picture. I have turned my house upside down all day. I am exhausted. I found some other stuff I wasn't looking for, but thought I had lost. But I am seriously torn up about this picture I really don't know where it is.

Devo did the best ever cover version of “I can't get no (satisfaction)” ever.

They were one the most important New Wave bands.

Harold Ramis died today from a swelling of the veins (vasculitis); his wife and family were by his side. He was 69.

Some of his movies were a good laugh.

He was best known for directing and writing "Caddyshack," "Groundhog Day" and "Analyze That." He also played the role of Egon Spengler in "Ghostbusters," which he co-wrote with Dan Aykroyd.

Ramis was born and raised in Chicago, but moved to Los Angeles once his career took off.

RIP.

A comedic genius.

He was Russell Ziske in "Stripes", one of my all-time favorites.

He and Bill Murray obviously had comedic chemistry.

Unfortunately his health had really gone down hill over the past decade.

I'm not familiar with him at all.

A big loss, he was my favoirite character in Ghostbusters and he directed Groundhog Day which is the “Its a wonderful life” for my generation.

Does Duchess live on the moon? You have never seen Ghostbusters?

I think Duchess exists in a rich bubble in the wilderness. You are not aware of Ghostbusters?

You are like Charlton Heston in the Omega man, sport yeah! Everything else in popular culture has passed you by.

We have these things called films? They are filmed narratives that continiue to be popular. I hope you don't think that's cool its not.

I don't think I ever watched GhostBusters but I am aware that it was a hugely popular movie. That man's name didn't ring any bells though. I used to say I was the last person in the Western world to see Ghost but I finally saw that, now I substitute Titanic in its place. I'm just not a big movie watcher, I have ants in my pants and it's hard to sit still & be quiet. Until I bought a Wii I had never played video games either. Being indoors sucks, I'd rather be outside baying at the moon.

Back to Devo for you fans...bit of odd trivia. Mark Mothersbaugh, their singer, has become an absolute monster in the kids songs and movie soundtrack world. He's one of the creative engines behind the popular Yo Gabba Gabba tv show and even does a bit on there as the drawing guy. Makes a shit load of money producing acts and writing songs too.

Jim Lange died of a heart attack at age 81.

I used to love the Dating Game when I was little; it's totally goofy looking back on it now.

He had a great voice and his real passion was radio. He was a DJ and radio show host before, during, and after his time hosting the Dating Game and other tv game shows. I listened to him both in LA and San Francisco until he retired about 10 years ago and always enjoyed him.

Lange was originally from Minnesota and did radio work there before moving to California. He died at his home in Mill Valley, CA.

RIP.

He lived a good long & interesting life. He's a product of the good ol' days.

Mickey Rooney, the exuberant entertainer who led a roller-coaster life — the world’s top box-office star at 19 as the irrepressible Andy Hardy, a bankrupt has-been in his 40s, a comeback kid on Broadway as he neared 60 — died on Sunday. He was 93 and lived in Westlake Village, Calif.

His death was confirmed by his son Michael Joseph Rooney.

He stood only a few inches taller than five feet, but Mr. Rooney was larger and louder than life. From the moment he toddled onto a burlesque stage at 17 months to his movie debut at 6 to his career-crowning Broadway debut in “Sugar Babies” at 59 and beyond, he did it all. He could act, sing, dance, play piano and drums, and before he was out of short pants he could cry on cue.

John Pinette, overweight comedian famous for being the dude who got all the Seinfeld cast arrested in the finale of the show, died at 50. Young but not surprising really.

As for my replacement for Mickey Rooney, that's a tough one. I have a feeling there are three or four ready to drop any minute. Dolly Parton, Stan Lee, Jim Kelly, that kid who played the football player in Blindside. Queen Elizabeth is still alive right?
I really should go with Jim Kelly but tthat's almost a gimme bet. I will pick Stan Lee. I have a feeling.

Saw her on a magazine cover, she's about 85 pounds and thirty of that is boobs. Looking real rough. Plus she's mid to high eighties. I still say Lee is gonna drop dead any minute though.

I feel sad for Jim Kelly. I hope his treatments work. One of his daughters tweets about what is going on and they are all trying so hard to remain positive.
