THis is NEW INFORMATION I think, The Toledo Blade has an article this morning quoting Jim Verbosky (Lisa's uncle the fire chief)

Mr. Verbosky states that Lisa was STILL IN HER WORK UNIFORM, that she didn't even have time to change before she was killed and the family has stated that upon coming home, Lisa would ALWAYS immediately change.... so IMO the perps were either waiting for them when they got home, or followed them right in the house. [/quote] This little tidbit, to me, blows Tiff out of the water. She made that call to establish her "innocence" once the shit started to go down. It took her that long to call a friend cuz they had to come up with some sort of story. I am still convinced that tiff made up the whole "who are you" crap.
Jim Verbosky also states that the only thing taken was a change jar in the parents bedroom that roughly contained 84.00.

there is like hardly any mention about LIsa out there in cyberspace... no random posts anywhere...nothing really substantial from her friends or family (until today)... (at least not that I've come across)...her FB page is still up... no obit (yet)...
anyone out there have any thoughts or ideas about maybe the intended victims were the Straubs?
or that they were into something... maybe that's why they have laid so low... maybe they know more, ALOT more... I'm finding it so hard to believe that some south end toledo 20 year old thugs would murder someone like this...

So to answer who were they partying with days/hours before their tragic death, Johnny's friends. I believe they were Johnny's friend's since she continues to post "Rest In Peace Johnny ♥" and not RIP Johnny and Lisa. Also, this girl also went to high school with Johnny not with Lisa. This is also weird, around 2/5/11 she became FB friends with Johnny's mother??
I saw this person's page yesterday as well.
One thing that stuck out to me, and I thought about it all night. This person states that she was just swimming with Lisa and Johnny days prior to their death. Now in Toledo, the only place to swim would be some sort of hotel/motel. With the experience I have with druggies (hometown is HUGE for druggies), hotels/motels are usually a druggies haven. Just makes me wonder what kind of "activities" they were taking part in the week prior to their death.

ONLY my opinion...i don't believe this family were the intended targets. in fact, i think them being away was a factor. there is too much evidence that Johnny had the kind of associates that would do this, not this older middle-aged couple. they've "laid low" because i think they are maintaining some dignity.
i find it very easy to believe 20-something drug thugs were capable of this.

I've been thinking the same thing, that the perps were already in the house which might explain the central security documents. I'm also wondering if the key that was found was to a file cainet that might have contained something of value, perhaps the foreign currency LE seized as evidence?

This stuck out to me from the newest Blade article:
"They had four $20s and some singles in a change container and that was all that came up missing," he said, adding that the upstairs bedrooms had been ransacked. "They were obviously looking for something that they couldn't find."
Didn't Tiffany say the house was ransacked? HOW did she see the upstairs bedrooms ransacked??? Wasn't it previously the cabinets that were open & went through?

I don't think they were swimming - I'm pretty sure the pool party refers to playing pool (on a pool table). I thought the same thing, though, when I first read about the pool party - who goes swimming in February in Ohio!

I also want to add that the girl people are quoting today that said she had just seen Johnny hours before, went swimming with days before etc, was just with Tiffany. Tiffany posted pictures of her, this friend people are quoting & 2 males, 11 hours ago.

I know Johnny's mother told the 911 operator that Sherita said that Tiffany had said the house had been ransacked. I'm not positive, but I don't think Tiffany said that in her account to the 911 operator - that was mostly about the phone call.

Either way, Maytee told the 911 operator that Tiffany said the house looked ransacked & if that is true, there is no way for Tiffany to have seen the upstairs bedrooms ransacked from the outside on the ground floor.
