If this is indeed what happened then it makes the murder more personal. If the perp has to hold his hands around their necks till they are dead that's personal. It concurs with what was disclosed by Lisa's uncle (I think by accident). I am still waiting for any confirmation by the medical coroner who initialy stated there were no marks on the bodies. Measured against a report of a violent struggle in the house and statements like Lisa fought for her life. It dosen't add up.

I'm reading "Step on a Crack" by James Patterson. The bad guy handcuffs hostages with their hands behind their backs, puts a plastic bag over their heads, and duct tapes it around their necks to get them to divulge their financial information (accounts, PINs, etc.)
I had expected the case to have been solved before now - that someone involved would have bragged or let something slip, or that crime scene evidence would have led to the perps. Either these guys have been very lucky or they were more professional than I had originally thought.

Im thinking that the perps are "more professional" than originally thought as well. I don't really think any of the south end punks are the perps. but that's just my opinion. Det. Stooksbury is officially retired as of today... wonder who the new "lead detective" is...

OLPH stands for Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a Catholic church in a good part of South Toledo. This news gives me the piss quivers. My daughter was working at the festival and many of my grandchildren were there too. Many of our local festivals have ceased to exist because these kind of people are showing up. One of the biggest expenses at OLPH is having a strong police presence. It's so sad because these festivals are good money makers for our church and school. A lot of good people donate their time and talents to make the festival a success. I'm so sad.

there is a very experienced Detective on the case, he has been the defacto lead Detective since February. i am not going to mention his name so that he ends up fielding hundreds of phone calls, but i am stating with certainty he is working this case.

Robbery/home invasion recently in Toledo. Has a little similarity to the Johnny and Lisa case in reguards to the statement that the robbers were told there was a safe in the house containing valuables, but there was no safe in the house.
