Sphincter Cop - you do such a good job at expressing things regarding this sad case - I agree with you many times. I am wondering lately about AG and his fuss on facebook with Maytee he carried on back and forth with her about how "he was not a snitch" well what if Johnny was a snitch? and these 2 goons were sent over to make sure he never snitched again JMO that's one notion I have another notion what if it was far more than "weed" & it was "brown" slang for heroin or cocaine? Something just is amiss here as to why this young couple are dead.

If you take a look at this Cameo thug on his new facebook page it looks like a pretty expensive jacket he is wearing and is that a motorcycle? Just where was Cameo getting the money from? Pimping? LOL!

It just had to be something that really irked someone - the someone who plotted and planned this deed, that other arrest we are waiting on the big fish maybe.

I was reading an appeal filed in a Toledo murder conviction from 2006. Kind of gives insight into the mindset of individuals that conspire to go out and do some robbing. Could very well be what happened in this case. No real animosity toward the victims, just chasin paper. Here is part of the appeal.

Valerie Hedrick testified that she was John Reece's girlfriend. On the evening of January 19, 2006, she was with Reece, Brian Hartford, Brandon Klein, William Klink, Mike Madrid and appellant at appellant's house. She testified that she heard the group discussing ways they could obtain money fast. The group decided to rob Joshua Bennett because they believed he had a lot of money and drugs in his possession.

Brandon Klein testified that in January 2006, he was living with appellant and supporting himself by selling heroin. Klein testified that the group decided to rob Bennett because they lost approximately $ 12,000 in cash when the police raided their home that month. Appellant told Klein that Bennett had a lot of money and that he would be unarmed. Klein took a gun to Bennett's house. He testified that appellant opened the back door with a screw driver. Klein went into the house first, followed by John [*8] Reece. Klein brandished the gun and told Bennett and his girlfriend to lie on the floor. As a dog approached, Klein pointed his gun at the dog. At that point, Bennett pulled out a gun.

LC brought me in to be another voice of reason when the lines get blurred between fact and assumption. I have just finished catching up on the case via this forum. It took a month or so!

Everyone is entitled to an opinion as to the who, what, where, when, and why. But this is dependent on the court of record, official press releases, and you have to take in account those people who claim to know information or the players. Thats what makes this so interesting. Sadly, its about two innocent lives lost.

As to those who are currently incarcerated. I think I made my opinion already clear; as to what I think about them.

I think you are right Nightowl, it might be something else. But personally, it doesn't scream DRUGS overall to me. I am leaning to more of a haphazard chain of events over anything calculated in the sense of homicide. The process in which the deceased were murdered perplexes me though. That is just not something you "think of" on the spot. So I am banking on the theory that something was planned. I base this assumption on my years of experience in Florida, thats all I can offer to this forum. Though, I did go to college at OSU! Police

Could it be 2 immature brains reenacting the Manhunt 2 video game ? My son and his friends were telling me about the game so I looked it up .
On Youtube there are many videos related to the subject of suffocation using plastic bags. It is so sad and horrible.

Well, I don't know where these two fuck-tards got their ideas from. It is obvious by their background, they are not the bright enough to retain a good education or be a productive member of society. I have zero respect for a woman beater.

Any guess is good at this point, as to how they were able to PLAN and EXECUTE these alleged crimes against them. Then again, worthless shitheads do extraordinary things! They just suck at it, in the end.

My gut is telling me, that this is going to be something we are not expecting or have theories on. I am trying to maintain a relative safe level of "thinking outside of the box."

so who is Destiny Madrid ?
I saw on local news station this noon that she was arrested in connection to this case. any ideas ?

Has anyone noticed that some news articles state the bodies were found in the kitchen while otners say the basement?

All of the pages for the arrest of Destiny Madrid have been pulled. I have no doubt that they just released the information too soon. My question is, what exactly does that charge mean? I would like to know further detail on why they would typically charge someone with obstruction, is it as simple as lying to police about information, or is it more than that?

I just read this on the front page of the NY Post...

An elderly East Harlem woman was discovered dead this evening with a bag over her head, and her feet tied up with a scarf, police sources said.
The victim's daughter told cops she couldn’t get in touch with her 77-year-old mom all day, so she went to the Wagner Houses on East 120th Street to check on her, cops said. The daughter got a key to her mom's apartment from a next-door neighbor. When she came into the apartment about 7:40 p.m., she discovered her mom's body, cops said.
A flat-screen TV was taken from the grisly scene, sources said.

Too creepy. Maybe this is some horrible trend thugs are getting from the video games as was mentioned earlier and not from some deep hatred/anger at Johnny/Lisa...just a disgusting robbery being the only motive. I so hope there is a trial and the truth will come out. I couldn't imagine the tension and heartache in that courtroom today with the Straubs, Clarks and family of one of the thugs all there together....unreal. :

A 500,000 bond for lying? Seems a like there is more than just telling a tall tale to the investigators in Ohio. So I am going to lean towards the "more than that" mixed with being a liar.

Sorry, I just skimed through the post's. What kind of obstruction would cause such a large amount on a bail?

Well, I just pulled up the Ohio Criminal Code:
No person, with purpose to hinder the discovery, apprehension, prosecution, conviction, or punishment of another for crime or to assist another to benefit from the commission of a crime, and no person, with purpose to hinder the discovery, apprehension, prosecution, adjudication as a delinquent child, or disposition of a child for an act that if committed by an adult would be a crime or to assist a child to benefit from the commission of an act that if committed by an adult would be a crime

The answer is in that paragraph, but I guess we won't know until there is information released by the invesitgators, court, or if the media gets ahold of something.
