Wow I didn't know she expressed joy about LCs passing. LC was on her side to on here for the longest time.

LC wanted justice for those kids. She spent a significant amount of time developing contacts within the police dept., with the local reporters and with any individual who cared to share their thoughts about this case with her. LC cared.

Big John said this back in February of 2013. Looks like he's a man of his word given he took a couple shots at Tiffany. I hope Zack had enough sense to tell the cops about being terrorized and pistol whipped by John, although maybe not, he might have known at least one LEO couldn't be trusted and was basically on the Clarke's payroll, for lack of a better word.

The way this is worded has always been troublesome to me. Had he known what was going to unfold...to me in my mind...this tells me it didn't go down the right way...am I the only one that thinks this?

Good point Wildflower. Their behavior goes far beyond normal grief and anger. It's like they are deflecting their guilt onto everyone else on an attempt to take the focus off themselves.

There are a number of people who have always felt they were involved. There was discussion for awhile that it was only supposed to be a robbery but it got out of hand. A lot of people questioned why Maytee was freakin' out when she couldn't reach her son, why all the drama. Most parents do not automatically think the worst immediately. I guess it's different when the kid and the parents are thugs.

I Thought they had a finger or two in it as well. You don't freak out about your kid who is grown and on their own and in a good neighborhood when it's early in the evening and they aren't answering phone calls or texts. You freak out when it's 2 am and you know they were with friends or at a house party drinking etc. And you want to be sure they got home safely or to see if they need a sober ride.
Big John and Maytee never have taken responsibility for their actions. They were obviously raised on a climate or culture of blame...then passed that along to their son. It doesn't seem that anything, no matter how small or big, is ever their fault. No accountability...backed up by little to no consequences for their behaviors...until johnny was killed. No one would ever want to look in that mirror and see the truth of what they have to cop to. At the least, they raised a irresponsible, entitled thug who got murdered in the most horrific of ways. At best, they completely fucked their own kid over, set him up, had knowledge of the set up or gave the right person info to get back at the Straubs for giving their son a chance to change his life. They still hate them for that. They hate them for living a Life they don't understand but are jealous of because they don't have it..., and it looks like a pretty good life from the view in the ghetto/slums. People hate what they don't understand. People fear what they don't understand.

I have always thought the Clarkes were aware that something was going down at Lisa's house that evening and have probably pointed the finger at those who were involved in any way..yes, I believe SW is guilty (+ CP).
I have said many times, what mother of a child Johnny's age panics because she can't reach him right away...She had to have known that he was in imminent danger and plan had backfired in my opinion.
I think SW is taking the "fall" because he is the perfect scapegoat. (he would never be a snitch).....
So, I do agree with you, but think the car and dog deal resulted in the "get even" mentality and ended differently than they planned. LC always believed that initially there were no plans to murder anyone....I do hope this case is solved with all parties in jail where they need to be.

Just now getting around to reading the Blade that comes early in the morning. Every Tuesday they devote one whole page for Toledo's most wanted fugitives. Our Maytee is one of them. It is her booking photo HT, WT and race. Charge aggravated assault. This a weekly thing so I don't know when she was missing or if she still is. very puzzling ......

I saw it, OTD and I agree that it's odd. To be wanted indicates one can't be found. Weird.

Imagine Maytee's reaction to seeing herself in the center of that Wanted collage after all of her hemming and hawing about how people should leave her alone and focus on the criminal maggots.

I think police either automatically provide the crime section of the paper with the details of people who don't show up for court dates related to felony charges, or TPD is sending a message to Maytee and the public that they mean business now when it comes to the Clarkes.

I keep thinking about how Maytee ranted endlessly about karma catching up to all the maggots she thinks had a hand in crimes against Lisa and Johnny. She would have been better off to trust in karma or to use her police friends to help her legally investigate what led up to the murders and push for justice, rather than use threats and violence to seek revenge. Not her style, I guess. I think karma's paying Matyee a visit these days.

Lt. Ramirez's preliminary hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. I hope we learn something new if it doesn't get waived.

Told you big news was coming. I can add that anyone who knows the Clarke's is not surprised by Ramirez's arrest. This has been going on for years. She brag about how she has Lt. Ramirez as a friend as well as a few other cops who got her back. She is still admitted @the hospital. This is her tactic to avoid booking. She will probably get booked right before court.... and then bond out. Its no secret that Ramirez has been helping her out of trouble for years. My guess is that Frank and Maytee have committed crimes in the past together... and she hold that over hid head as leverage.

He presents himself as being above the law and thinks it's okay to break the law in order to accomplish what he feels he needs to (I see where Johnny got it from) AND neither of the Clarke's have any regard for their children that are at home.

I was told a few months ago that the oldest son has a girlfriend and spends most of his time at her house and that the youngest one is "lost". I took that to mean emotionally lost.

I know that proving insanity is very difficult & in Ohio the burden of proof falls on the defendant. I'd have compassion for a truly crazy person. They know not what they do and all that stuff.

Maytee & John knew exactly what they were doing, hell's bells they told God & everyone that they were going "hunting" for the people who killed their son. Maytee even posted selfies from inside a vehicle captioned with "hunting".

The Toledo Blade is 20 ¹⁄₂ inches long and 12 inches wide. The most wanted is 17 inches long. Point is that you can't miss it. Maytee is rather normal when she is being televised. Also, I have been trying to search.to no avail, to see if she has been paying all this time to be able to post on legacy.The Blade doesn't have any way to call them. I am quite anal and love to dig in. Remember I called the Cemetery waaay back to get some answers as to why they were allowing that God awful mess at the grave.To surprise LC. I talked my now deceased husband into going with me to take photos. They succeeded in making a nice place look ghetto. Hell, for all we know. maybe Ramirez was getting laid.
