Rampant Abuse and Murders of Children
Well at least him being so young he won't remember and lets hope nobody ever tells him, I dony't even know how you would begin to deal with that.

So very, very sad. This is really beyond belief...the worst kind of horror movie and I don't even watch horror movies. Unfortunately, a one month old on life support will probably not survive.

Police were last night forced to subdue a 100-strong angry mob who had gathered on a street where a one-month-old baby boy was allegedly raped and battered so badly its heart stopped.

The infant remained in a serious condition today after allegedly suffering multiple horrific injuries in Gravesend, Kent, in one of Britain's worst cases of child abuse.

The boy's horrendous injuries are said to include a broken arm, broken collarbone, punctured lungs and severe bruising, as well as having all his ribs fractured.

monday: the baby is still hanging on to his life.

A mother who took photos of sex acts with her own son and daughter has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Candice Miller, 32, from Alva in Florida, sexually assaulted her children and emailed the pictures to a paedophile, who is now in jail.

She admitted sending them to Steven Demink, 41, who is serving life for a con in which he persuaded other women to send him pornographic images of their children.

He told women across the U.S. that he was a psychologist to persuade them to sexually assault their children as a form of therapy, then send him the images, NBC reported.

Police found more than 1,000 graphic images on Miller's computer when she was arrested in October 2010.

These included photographs of her children, who were 10 and 14 at the time.
She could be seen performing sexual acts on one of the children in some of the photos.

How does a TV topple over on your baby?!!!!!!

A four-month-old baby was reportedly crushed to death after a television fell on top of him causing fatal head injuries.
Kian McMillan was taken to hospital from the house in Burnley, Lancashire, on Tuesday at 2.40am, but died a day later.
His mother Natalie, 24, and a 40-year-old man believed to be the baby's father were arrested on suspicion of child neglect.

Neighbours piled flowers, teddy bears and cards outside the terraced house in Burnley, which they said the couple had only been renting for a few months.
Lisa Robinson said: 'Seeing the flowers, teddies and cards makes you realise it’s real. It is so sad and I feel so sorry for everyone involved.'

'Little angel': Friends and relatives left mementos mourning the death of four-month-old Kian
Another neighbour, Ryan Coops, added: 'It shocks everyone when something like this happens.
'Although we didn’t know the family, everyone is upset. I heard the ambulance come and take the baby away to hospital.'
Kian was first taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital before being transferred to Manchester’s Children’s Hospital, where he died on Wednesday at 2am.
A white lamb cuddly toy sat on the family's doorstep today, along with floral tributes that included one from the baby’s aunt and uncle.
It read: 'To my sweet, little Kian. In my thoughts always. We love you so much my little angel. Miss you always. RIP, goodnight, goodbye. Uncle Pete, auntie Siavonne and cousin Olivia.'
Another card read: 'A golden heart stopped beating, two smiling eyes now at rest. Now everybody knows God only takes the best. RIP little one. Goodnight, God bless, love Stacey, Shaun and Tia.'
Councillor Elizabeth Monk, who represents the Trinity ward, said: 'It is very tragic news and my heart goes out to everybody affected.
'It is so shocking close to Christmas and it has really had an impact on the community.'
Distressed friends and members of the public posted messages on Facebook about the tragedy.
Joan Shapcott wrote: 'r i p little one god bless', and Michelle Pilling added: 'goodnight, god bless, no-one can harm you again.'
Lancashire police confirmed that Kian’s mother, of Burnley, and a 40-year-old man from Brighouse, West Yorkshire, had been arrested on suspicion of child neglect but were later released on bail until January 30.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and they are treating the death as 'unexplained'.
An inquest into the death of Kian was expected to open today at the East Lancashire coroner's office.

Neighbor said Jorge Barahona was 'super paranoid,' records show

By John Lantigua, The Palm Beach Post

8:57 p.m. EST, December 9, 2011
Jorge Barahona was given to paranoia and fears of conspiracies around him that he expressed to a neighbor, according to investigative materials released this week by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office.

James Sheppard, 49, who lived next to Barahona and his wife, Carmen, for years before they were arrested and charged with murdering their adopted daughter, said that the couple mainly kept to themselves but that he did have occasional conversations with Jorge from yard to yard.

"He was always talking about conspiracy, about people breaking in, or keeping your gates locked," Sheppard said, according to transcripts of his March 15 interview with investigators. "He was really paranoid, super paranoid."
Miami (Miami-Dade, Florida) The newly released documents also provide more detail of the frustrations faced by Jorge Barahona's siblings in the days around the tragedy as they tried to report their worries to authorities and were repeatedly shunted from place to place.

Jorge and Carmen Barahona face first-degree murder charges, accused of killing Nubia Barahona, 10. Jorge is also accused of trying to kill Nubia's twin brother, Victor, and both he and Carmen face charges of aggravated child abuse and neglect. The two children were found by police on Feb. 14 in a pickup truck owned by Jorge, an exterminator, on the side of Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach.

Nubia was dead, found in a black plastic bag also filled with pesticide chemicals, in the back of the truck. Victor had been badly burned with chemicals but survived.

In another interview released this week, Yovani Perez, formerly married to Carmen Barahona's daughter, Jennifer, and the father of the Barahonas' 6-year-old granddaughter, said the girl, who often went to the Barahona house after school, came back with frightening stories in the days before the twins were found.

She said the twins were bound hand and foot, tied together and placed in the bathtub, where they spent hours. Perez asked his daughter why that was done to them and, according to Perez, the girl said Carmen had explained it to her:

"Because those are bad kids and they want to poison [Carmen] and Jorge," the girl allegedly said. "And that those kids have already put alcohol and some poison in their food."

In interviews with Carmen, released earlier, she told investigators that her husband was afraid because the children had threatened to kill him with rat poison and they had also put baby oil in his soda.

After hearing his daughter's account, Perez arranged to have the girl taken for counseling, and that meeting led the therapist, Lisa Reis, to call the hotline of the Department of Children & Families to report the possible abuse.

That was Feb. 10, but the DCF was not able to find the twins in time to save Nubia, who police think was beaten to death by Jorge, probably on Feb. 11.

Baby Gabriel's mom competent but lawyerless
December 7, 2011

A doctor says the mother of the Tempe baby
who has been missing nearly two years has been restored to competency, which clears the way for her to stand trial.

At the end of September, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Paul McMurdie ruled that Elizabeth Johnson was incompetent to stand trial. At the same time, he agreed with three doctors who said Johnson would be restored to competency with medication and counseling.

The judge on Wednesday morning said that goal has been achieved and that Johnson is now competent to stand trial.

At this point, however, Johnson does not have a lawyer to represent her.

At the end of Wednesday's hearing, Johnson's lawyers asked to be removed from the case, saying the relationship with their client was "broken." Johnson agreed with her lawyers' assessment.

McMurdie released the attorneys and scheduled another status conference for Dec. 13. At that time, the court will deal with Johnson's representation.

Gabriel Johnson was just 8 months old when he vanished just after Christmas 2009.

Johnson faces charges of kidnapping, conspiracy to commit custodial interference and child abuse. She has been in jail since she was extradited back to Phoenix from Florida in January 2010.

Johnson originally claimed she killed the baby boy, but later said she gave the child to a couple in San Antonio, Texas.

The last time Gabriel was seen alive was in a San Antonio hotel room a couple of days after Christmas two years ago. Despite an extensive multi-state search and a massive investigation, there has been no sign of Gabriel since then.

RE Post #188.

I have read about this story before, I hear another court date is set for January 2012.

I hope now she has been proved competent to stand trial it will finally go ahead. This is one crazy bitch, one minute he is alive, next she gave him away, poor baby had no chance being born to her.

In the alleged conversation between her and baby daddy, she said she saw his’ Facebook page’ and was angry that he had been talking to other women. She then goes on to say ‘’'You left me with no choice. You'd be surprised what a person will do if you push them enough.' She adds: 'You made me kill my baby boy. I suffocated him, he turned blue and that's when I put him in his diaper bag and put him in the trash can.'

I say Burn bitch burn!!!!!

I actually just called on this today and yesterday. The Coroner’s office has not received the advanced toxicology results from the boys yet so they still don’t have a cause. I double checked that with prosecutor’s office and they confirmed it. The nature of the tests being run means it could still be a little while before we know.

I hope that helps.

Illinois
This is the mother who is believed to have massacred her boyfriend and three children in a tiny Illinois farm town before turning the gun on herself.

Chilling photos show proud parents Sara McMeen and Daniel Warren smiling 10 months ago with their newborn daughter Maggie.

All three are dead now, along with McMeen's two other young children Skyler, 8, and Ian, 7 -- the victims of a horrible murder-suicide that wiped out a family of five in moments in Emington, Illinois.

A witness described the horrible moment McMeen, 30, placed the infant girl on the ground, wrapped her in a blanket and shot her at point blank range with a semi-automatic pistol.

She had apparently already gunned down her 29-year-old boyfriend Daniel and her two other children, the Pontiac Daily Leader reported.

When the neighbor ran for help. When she came back, McMeen was dead, as well, after turning the gun on herself.

Authorities have given no clue what could have led the mother of three to massacre her family.

The neighbor who witnessed the shooting told the Daily Leader she walked outside when she heard the gunshots and saw McMeen wrap her infant daughter in a blanket on the ground in the backyard of her home.

When the neighbor asked if she was alright, the McMeen responded: 'No, everything is not OK,' then bent down and shot the baby at point-blank range.
JESUS!

How in the hell did this baby not get taken from he before it was too late!!!!!

Daily mail - A heroin addict who  subjected her toddler son to a shocking catalogue of neglect before leaving his corpse in  his cot for months is facing  life in prison after being convicted of his murder.
Kimberley Hainey frequently left 15-month-old Declan on his own in dirty nappies while she went out with friends or stayed at her boyfriend’s house for days  at a time.
After his death, a court heard how Hainey, 37, continued to claim child benefits and lied repeatedly to  family, friends and health workers in a bid to maintain the deception that her son was still alive.
Declan was last seen in public around July or August 2009, but his  body was not discovered in his cot at his home in Paisley, Scotland, until March 30, 2010.
Experts estimate he had been dead for anything up to eight months
At the High Court in Glasgow, Hainey denied killing Declan, concealing his body and pretending that he was still alive to prevent police investigating his death.
She claimed she woke up one day and found him dead in his cot, telling the court: ‘I was branded a monster mother. It’s not true.
‘He was not murdered. He was not given drugs, I never did anything to harm my son. He was the most precious thing in my life.’
But jurors who sat through six weeks of evidence did not believe Hainey and took just four hours yesterday to find her guilty of murder.
Last night, health chiefs faced questions over why a child whose mother had a history of drink and drug abuse had not been offered greater protection.
Matt Forde, of NSPCC Scotland, said: ‘This is a horrific case involving a very vulnerable baby.
‘Sadly, babies are 12 times more likely to be killed than any other children in Scotland and this case is another stark reminder of the vulnerability of babies and toddlers to neglect and abuse.
Hainey was declared guilty by a majority verdict at Glasgow High Court
‘While not all parents with drink or drug problems are a danger to their babies, we know there is a strong link and we are campaigning for better and earlier intervention in these families.’ Hainey – who often broke down during the trial – showed no emotion as the verdict was delivered.
Judge Lord Woolman will determine in January how long she  must serve before being considered for parole.
Earlier, the court heard that Hainey was drinking heavily and going out, leaving Declan home alone.
On one occasion, she was away for two days, leaving the toddler to fend for himself.
Tragic Declan was left in dirty nappies with no food or drink while Hainey was out enjoying herself.
By the time his badly decomposed body was found, pathologists were unable to ascertain how he died.
After the death, Hainey sold his clothes and toys to buy heroin. She left his body in his cot.
He was found by Hainey’s mother, step-father and aunt after they were told the child had failed to turn up for immunisations at the GP’s surgery and was going to be reported missing to social services.
One health visitor tried to visit Declan seven times from the summer of 2009. She was dealing with 320 cases at the time, but eventually raised the alarm.
A statement from Renfrewshire Council and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board said determined efforts to see Declan were thwarted because Hainey ‘deliberately avoided contact by lying to social work and health care staff’.

Chicago man charged after posting picture of duct-taped year-old daughter

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Andre Curry's daughter as she appeared on his Facebook page, prompting a police investigation.

Chicago Police Dept.
Andre Curry, 21, is charged with domestic battery for allegedly duct-taping his child.

A 21-year-old Chicago man is in legal trouble after he posted Facebook pictures of his baby daughter with her mouth, wrists and ankles bound in duct tape.

The Chicago Police Department said that Andre Curry was charged with aggravated domestic battery and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

The picture of the helpless 1-year-old bound with tape was posted with the caption "This is wut happens wen my baby hits me back. ; )" on Curry's Facebook page. It has since been removed, but not before police got wind of it and began investigating Curry on Dec. 14, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The Department of Child and Family Services is also investigating, a Chicago police spokesman said.

The alarming picture went viral after being posted on the Smoking Gun website.

Je'Vanna Cobbins, a Facebook friend of Curry, told the website that the young father would never actually hurt anyone.

"[He was] being playful with his child," she said. "People play with their children differently."
