JSYK, everybody pretends to be your friend. You have a few creepy as fuck family members who seem to speak to you when the press is around and some old ones that don't know any better, but the rest of the people seemed to have liked your son, not you. If it weren't for him, you wouldn't have any people pretending to like you. Sad, but true.

So Maytee DID know the guys who killed Johnny and Lisa? Or at least her family members knew them and she knew of them? The ghetto DID kill those two young folks. That is effen sad and not surprising at all. Given a little more time, I think those two would have left all that behind and gone the way of the successful Straubs.

Who is the witch blaming today? Because she has to know the way she raised that boy killed both of them. She HAS to know.

she's been uncharacteristically silent on FB since new arrest today. but it's early.

i have said for some time that all the connections will come out at trial. and i believe she fears that.

I would bust my ass to not have to raise my kids in a place like that. Lazy people live in shit holes. Sorry people raise kids there. Everyone else gets the hell out. It isn't a senseless tragedy, it is somebody's shitty parenting coming to fruition. You can love somebody and still be bad for them. The trick is loving your kids more than you love yourself. You do that by getting up and going to work, even if you don't feel like it. You do that by being willing to piss your kids off by saying, "NO!" You do that by being the best example you can of what you want your kids to be when they grow up.

Love doesn't fix things. Effort does. And honor.

I raised kids. Nothing really bad ever happened, but there were a few bumps in the road. That's when I dropped the hammer. I was willing to be unpopular (and a fucking grown up) in order to do the right things. My grown kids make me proud. They grew into people I like that I don't have to bail out of jail. It wasn't easy. But it was worth it. If something like that happened to my kids, I would know who to blame. And I would never forgive myself. I don't forgive other parents who drop the ball, either. Fuck you people who do a bad job at the most important thing in the world. I don't forgive you. You fucked up.

You are spot on. It's the mind of a sociopath. They are never at fault. I have several that work for me. I even have one that popped for weed and couldn't even admit that he smoked it, claimed his neighbor gave him a spiked brownie. Too bad he doesn't know he won't pop a piss test for brownies. You can't argue with crazy.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had a hand in it at this point. Sounds like there was a connection. Her rantings would then be an expression of guilt.

Several of us have thought that for months now.

One thing that can't be denied is that the way she raised her son played a role in his death & Lisa is dead because of her association with him, I firmly believe that.
