This shouldn't be at all amusing, but...

You might be a redneck if someone in your family is charged with: MURDER BY ATOMIC WEDGIE

[Image: KNXV_Brad_Davis_Denver_St_Clair_20140108...20_240.JPG]
Brad Lee Davis, suspect and Denver St. Clair, stepfather & victim (RIP)

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, OK - A former marine is facing a murder charge for killing his stepfather with underwear, investigators say.

Thirty-three-year-old Brad Davis is accused of suffocating his stepfather during a fight days before Christmas in Pottawatomie County.

Investigators say both men were drinking at the home near McLoud Dec. 21 when Davis' stepfather, Denver St. Clair, spoke "ill of Davis' mother."

According to an affidavit, Davis claims his stepfather "swung first," then Davis fought back, giving his stepfather an "atomic wedgie." Davis said after the fight his stepfather stopped breathing.

Davis called 911 and St. Clair was deceased by the time officers arrived at the scene.

According to the affidavit, St. Clair had multiple blunt force injuries to his face and his "elastic underwear waistband had been stretched up over his head," leaving a ligature mark around his neck. Blood was found in the living room and kitchen areas.

Investigators say Davis admitted hitting St. Clair several times until St. Clair lost consciousness. It was then, according to the affidavit, that Davis "grabbed St. Clair's underwear and gave him an 'atomic wedgie'."

Arrest Made in California Mansion Murders

The murder scene

This was a big story here when a whole family was shot while they slept in a multi-million dollar home in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

That was back on February 8th. The parents of five, who'd filed for divorce a decade earlier but still lived together and ran a business together, died of their gunshot wounds.

Their 8-year-old son was seriously wounded and paralyzed. Their 17-year-old daughter was fired at, but the shooter missed.

Anyway, the couple's business was the target of several lawsuits and it seemed to me that investigators were initially following that trail as a possible motive.

Andra and Bradford Sachs, murder victims. RIP.

Turns out, the Sachs have a 19-year-old son, Ashton Sachs, who was attending Washington State University.

Ashton Sachs, accused murderer

Ashton was arrested on Friday and charged with the murders of his parents and the attempted murders of his two siblings. He's being held in Orange County Jail without bond and will appear in court on Monday. Investigators say they have the murder weapon and that the death penalty may be pursued.

Ashton reportedly talked to investigators at length late last week, but LE is not revealing whether inheritance is the motive or many other details at this time.

Child Molester Rapes Teen and Kills Family

[Image: jaacob-van-winkle.jpg?w=620&h=349&crop=1]

On Saturday in Canon City, Colorado a teenaged girl fled to a neighbor's home and told them she'd been raped. When police arrived, they found Vanwinkle in the home. They also found the bodies of the girl's 5-year-old brother, 9-year-old sister, and 35-year-old mother.

31-year-old Vanwinkle was reportedly a "family friend" of the victims. I don't know if that means he was mom's boyfriend or what exactly.

I do know that he is a known child molester and therefore should be in the sex offender registry.

He is the kind of asshole who should be incarcerated for a long time, IMO. Child molesters seem to always re-offend and frequently escalate in their crimes.

Vanwinkle was sentenced in 2004 to four years in prison in Indiana for child molestation and vicarious sexual gratification. He received a two-year term in 2007 in Indiana for child molestation and, in 2012, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence in Colorado.

Autopsies of the victims (identities not yet disclosed) are scheduled for today. Van Winkle is charged with murder, kidnapping and sexual assault. He was denied bond yesterday.

BURIED ALIVE IN NEW JERSEY

Murder victim: Fatima Perez, 41. RIP.

[Image: article-2629769-1DE3B5A000000578-783_634x423.jpg]
Murder suspects: Ramon Ortiz, left, 57 and Carlos Alicea-Antonetti, 36.

Ortiz and Antonetti had done landscaping for Fatima Perez and were known to her family. They offered to drive her to pick up a car she was going to purchase. She had $8,000 cash on her at the time.

After she was reported missing, witnesses told police that she was last seen with Antonetti. Police tracked down Anonetti and Ortiz and arrested them in a nearby hotel room -- they had $7,000 cash and some of Perez's personal belongings.

The two pieces of shit later confessed to burying Perez in a shallow grave while she was still alive (confirmed by autopsy that she died of asphyxiation), after they tied her up and duct-taped her mouth and eyes. They're charged with murder and being held on $5 million bail. If convicted, they could face life without parole -- which seems to good for them, IMO.

Perez's mother was inconsolable at the arraignment. Perez had two children; a 21-year-old and a 7-year-old.

WHO'S ZOOMING WHO?

Charile Bothuell is a 12-year-old Detroit boy who was reported missing on June 14th. Detroit PD had feared the boy was dead.

But, Charlie was found alive yesterday, thankfully.

His father Charlie Sr. learned about the boy being found, in the basement of the family's home, live on the Nancy Grace show last night. Check it out.

Effin' odd case.

Charlie lives with his dad and stepmom and is home-schooled.

Reportedly, his father is very strict and the stepmom said Charlie ran away because, while in her care, Charlie didn't finish his exercise routine and he was afraid of her telling his dad.

Police say there was a pipe found at the house that may have been used to discipline the boy, and some blood in the boy's room.

The house and the basement had been checked by the family, the Detroit PD, the FBI, dogs...early in the search.

Yesterday, a make shift barricade with some bedding and food was found behind some boxes and barrels and there were tunnels that allowed the boy to wander around the apartment complex from the basement.

Police say Charlie told him that his stepmom was helping him hide. He is said to be in stable condition and spent the night in the a local hospital with his bio-mom.

POLICE OFFICER KILLS WIFE, 2 CHILDREN, MIL, AND SELF
Drugs, Rape, Porn Addiction...

The bodies of Kelly Boren, 32; Joshua “Jaden” Boren, 7; Haley Boren, 5; Marie King, 55; and Joshua Boren, 34, were found inside their Spanish Fork house on Jan. 16. Police believe Joshua Boren, who had previously worked for the Utah County Sheriff's Office, shot and killed his family in the upstairs area of their house before turning the gun on himself.

The (final investigative) report states that Joshua Boren was sexually abused as a child and had a drug addiction. It also describes an addiction to pornography that lasted into adulthood and says he had a deep hatred for his biological mother.

Several friends of both Joshua and Kelly Boren, including the officer's therapist whom he had been seeing since the fall of 2013 to try to deal with his failing marriage, reported to investigators that Joshua Boren had drugged his wife with Ambien, causing her to pass out, and raped her while videotaping the event. He did this four or five times over the past two years, several people told police. She found out but didn't turn him in because she didn't want him to lose his job, but she left him.

The night before the murders, Kelly and Joshua Boren got into a heated argument through text messages. Both of them seemed to agree at that point that their eight-year marriage was finally over.

"You (expletive) drugged and raped me," Kelly Boren texted, followed by four more texts with only the word "raped," according to the report.

"I hate my life because (of) you," she texted. "You killed a part of me."

Kelly told Joshua that she was going to take the kids the next day. He told her not to involve the kids because they were innocent. He then massacred the family a few hours later.

ANOTHER MAN KILLS HIS FAMILY, SURRENDERS AFTER SHOWDOWN -- HOUSTON, TEXAS

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Ron Hickman told reporters Thursday morning that the suspect has been identified as Ron Haskell, 33 (pictured above). Hickman said Haskell would be charged with multiple counts of capital murder.

Earlier, authorities had said the suspect was the younger victims' father and his estranged wife was out of town.

Among those killed were two boys, ages 4 and 14; two girls, ages 7 and 9; a 39-year-old man and 33-year-old woman, said Gilliland.

"It appears this stems from a domestic issue with a breakup in the family, from what our witness has told us," Assistant Chief Deputy Constable Mark Herman of the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office told reporters. He did not explain further.

Gilliland said the teenager was in "very critical condition" at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston late Wednesday night.

After the 15-year-old survivor told deputies that the gunman was headed to her grandparents' home, they were able to pass along the warning, he said. The suspected gunman then led authorities on a chase, with nearly two dozen deputy constables' patrol cars following him into a cul-de-sac shortly before 7 p.m. There, the suspect's boxed-in vehicle remained for hours. Finally, at about 10 p.m., after hours of waiting and negotiations, the man emerged from his car, raised his hands and sank to his knees as deputies placed him under arrest.

Gilliland described the man as "cool as a cucumber." He said that when he and other officers first approached, the man was "just sitting in his car looking out at us."

"This concluded the way we wanted it to," Gilliland said after the surrender.

^ Turns out, the shooter in post 69 (Haskell) did not kill his immediate family. He killed his sister-in-law, her husband, and four of their five kids. One teen survived.

Suspect -- Ronald Lee Haskell, 33.
Fatal Victims -- Stephen Stay, 39; Katie Stay, 33; their two boys, ages 4 and 14; and two of their girls, ages 7 and 9; RIP. Also pictured: the lone survivor 15-year-old, Cassidy Stay.

Haskell's wife, Melanie, had moved from Utah to Texas to get away from him. He was a domestic abuser; she had a protective order out on him and had filed for his divorce. His increasingly aggressive and erratic behavior scared the shit outta his wife and her sister.

So, the now-dead sister went to Utah and helped her sister and the Haskells' kids get moved to Texas where they'd hoped she'd be safe.

Well, Haskell went looking for his wife and children and started with his sister-in-law's house.

Prosecutors said in court that Haskell posed as a FedEx delivery man (he formerly worked for Fed Ex), tied up his in-laws in their home, placed them face-down and shot each of them in the head when they wouldn't tell him where his wife was located.

He was charged with capital murder on Thursday in connection with the six deaths. He collapsed in court. Fifteen-year-old daughter, Cassidy, survived but was critically injured. Cassidy had played dead and called 911 when Haskell left her family's home. Were it not for her, more people would likely have been killed.

Another one who should have been in jail or a psych ward and shouldn't have had gun privileges in any case.

I read their father say that the shooter was jealous of the family he killed. The shooter thought he should be living their seemingly perfect life with his own family and it was his sister in law's fault that he wasn't. I don't know if this is true or fabricated, you know how things get said after one of these horrors.

Cut that chickens head off and be done with it.
There is no rehabilitating him, the world should never have to worry about him being among the free and there is absolutely no reason to feed him and give him a place to live.
Set his execution date for tomorrow and cap him.

It does seem like the Stays were a close-knit family and they were very active in their LDS/Mormon community. I don't know if Haskell was jealous of that, but he sure was pissed off that he couldn't find his ex-wife and children; no doubt about that.

The surviving Stay daughter, Cassidy, spoke at her family's memorial last week. She said her parents and 4 siblings are in a better place and that she's leaned on a passage from Harry Potter for inspiration -- it talks about finding light in the darkest of times.

Here she is at the memorial.

A GoFundMe account was set up for her after the murders. The goal was $300k -- they've already reached $270k.

Yeah, even if he is mentally ill, he knew exactly what he was doing and how horrendous it was. He may have feigned his collapse in court in order to pump an insanity defense, though.

Angry, bitter, POS. I don't care if Haskell gets life without parole or the death penalty, but agree he should never live outside of incarceration again.

WHAT A PIG

Anthony Novellino, 67 was found guilty today of murdering his ex-wife Judith Novellino, 62. Judith was a teacher at Morris Catholic School in Denville, NJ.

Anthony's a real 'effin winner. The couple had only been divorced for 2 weeks when Judith went to the house to retrieve her belongings.

Their divorce was spurred by the fact that Anthony didn't think Judith kept the house clean enough. He'd take pictures and bitch about it to his friends and family. So, Judith took a walk and he allegedly harassed her; contentious divorce.

Anyway, when Judith went to get her stuff, words were exchanged and Anthony stabbed her 84 times with an 8 inch knife. But, before he fled the scene to go meet up with his internet girlfriend in another state, he took a final parting shot at his butchered ex-wife. He put this mask over her head.

The couple's adult daughter found her mother dead, in the mask, in a pool of a blood. Had to be a nightmare.

Anthony's lawyer had little to work with in trying to defend the pig. He basically tried to argue that Judith was mad about the harassment and she instigated the fight, drew a knife (she was killed in the bathroom, FFS), and Anthony killed her in a crime of passion while defending himself (manslaughter would have meant 10 years or less behind bars). Weak. The jury didn't buy that bullshit and didn't take long to convict him of murder.

Anthony Novellino will be sentenced to a minimum of 30 years on September 12th. It took 4 years for the case to get to trial, but Judith's family and friends are relieved and thankful that justice was done.

RIP Judith Novellino.

Mother Enslaved for Months in a Cage

This Indiana mother, ^ Joelle Lockwood -30, was missing for two months.

She was found enslaved in the trailer of these two winners.
[Image: 87ef6a85-1786-4ca2-90f6-0727b59f7903-big.jpg]
Kendra Tooley, 44 and Ricky House Jr., 37

Seems the lovely couple wanted to have another baby, but Tooley couldn't conceive. So, House offered Lockwood a ride (she knew him from high school) and then the couple tied her up, kept her in a cage, and raped her for two months.

Luckily, his friend Ron Higgs saw Lockwood at the house and facilitated her rescue on Saturday.

House and Tooley are being held on charges of criminal confinement and rape.

If I Can't Have You...

Last Tuesday, police located Tanya's BMV near the home of her ex-boyfriend Roy Blanco. Her badly decomposing body was found in the trunk.

They also located Blanco, his mom and his dog in the woods near where their rented boat had run out of gas.

Police indicate that both Roy Blanco and his mother Martha were attempting to swallow pills when they were approached by police. Martha managed to get some down and was rushed to the hospital. She's alive, to the best of my knowledge.

Roy Blanco either stabbed himself in the stomach with a kitchen knife or he was accidentally stabbed in the stomach during the struggle with police (he was apparently concealing the knife in his waistband under his shirt). He's dead.

“I’m trying to hold my strength, but I’m only human and there’s so much pain that a human body can take,” Tanya's father Ramon Gonzalez said Tuesday evening. “Not how I wanted to find her. But I found my baby and I can give her a Christian burial and I will bury my baby. May God have my daughter in the place that she belonged. I feel that he took the angel out of this world and took it to him because he needed her up there.”

RIP Tanya Gonzalez.

This sick fuck, Paul Bugarcic, was entrusted with the care of a braindead young woman. The only reason he was caught is because her parents had thought they saw signs of improvement so they set up a camera in her room in order to catch more signs, they instead caught this sumbitch having sex with her.

It pisses me off reading about health care workers who rape their incapacitated patients, teachers who seduce their minor students, people who have sex with pets, coroners and morgue attendants who have sex with dead bodies...

Predators who seek jobs that give them access to as many victims as possible and usually fool a lot of people before they finally get caught. Lowlife pieces of shit.

snip:

(CNN) - A research team has identified two more sets of remains from unmarked graves at a former reformatory in Marianna, Florida, reported the University of South Florida.

Thomas Varnadoe and Earl Wilson were the second and third students at the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys identified through a DNA match, USF said in a press release issued Thursday. Wilson was the first African-American student identified

For years, stories circulated that boys were beaten, tortured and murdered at the school about 65 miles west of Tallahassee, Florida, but nobody was ever prosecuted. The school opened in 1900 and closed in 2011 for budgetary reasons.

Records about who died at the school are sketchy, authorities have said, so an effort to locate and identify remains began several years ago.

Investigators now say there's evidence 98 boys died at the school. Remains have been excavated from 55 unmarked graves, USF says.

Wasn't sure in which thread to post this. Not sure if it belonged in the abused/murdered children thread or if that thread is for more recent cases.

This reminds me of that school Jack and Wolf are sent to in The Talisman by Stephen King.

Hope at least some of the surviving family membrs can have some closure.
