I hope you got to see YES at the beach, Maggot. That sounds like a great time.

I love this one.

I was living in the past last Friday night at a Cheap Trick concert. Two weeks before at the REO concert, next week for Styx and next month for Night Ranger.

I'm a classic rock cocert junkie.

I love Night Ranger, and people just don't seem to understand.

Good pick, MS.
I had a guitar player named Todd who had an enormous head.

9 Lives was an amazing album for REO. Haven't really liked much from them before or after that one.

Sounds like fun -- summer concerts are the best.

I love this REO song, to this day.

Happy hump day!

It was the 20th anniversary of this song this week. Hard to believe they were 15. I saw them live when they came out as the support act for Pantera in Newcastle (Their hometown) and just blew the crowd away. The crowd actually booed Pantera to get them back out.

I miss Crash's posts in here; some of which I'd never heard.

Yep, drinking a little bit tonight.

Aside from the incredible guitar solo, don't know why ^ this is one of my favorite songs. But, why ask why? It is.

Jack Bruce died yesterday of liver disease. He was 71. RIP.

Cream is one of my favorite rock trios -- Jack on bass/vocals, Eric Clapton on lead guitar/vocals, Ginger Baker on drums.

Ginger Baker is such a jerk.

Ginger is a total asshole. But, hey, he's an equal opportunity trasher -- he hates everybody.

And, he was a killer drummer when he played with Cream (and Blind Faith too).

Here's some Ginger-free Jack Bruce for you, Mags. With Gary Moore and Gary Husband on drums.
