LC, I agree that this method of murder is far out but think of the times when cops find stuff like tape, rope, handcuffs, etc, in the cars of killers. Some psychos have unusual preferences.
If you got into a fight with someone, while robbing them, wouldn't you reach for something more handy, say, like a lamp cord or a kitchen knife? This taping people up thing, with bags over their heads, sounds like a lot of work and not very spontaneous.
