U.S. and allies launch first missiles against Gadhafi forces

I get the feeling you lump people together based on their feelings on ONE issue. Nobody is just one-way, well, no reasonable person. That was my point.

I have a few beaded necklaces (nothing I would wear, momentos) that are strung on knotted, dirty, woolen yarn that were purchased for me from roadside children in Iraq. The kids weren't killed and the necklaces stolen. They were purchased by a soldier for way too much money in order to allow them to feed their families. Not all soldiers are bad, or good, and I don't pretend otherwise.

You can't generalize thinking people. We all don't fit in your box. You can't apply the misdeeds of a few to the hard work of the many. You can, I guess, that is your choice, but it makes you look like an ass.

I don't put people in boxes, people try to do the same with me all the time (a centrist who leans to the left on some issues and to the right on others seems to confuse and annoy people who insist that you pick a "side", I have I'm on "my side) and it irritates me.

I have already said before I believe the vast majority of the soldiers serving abroad are doing their job in the appropriate and correct manner including your son who I apologise for taking the piss out of and I won't do it again because he sounds like one of the good guys. A good guy who doesn't think that posing with corpses or mutilating them is acceptable.

Deep down I think you will find we are actually more alike than you would ever admit too.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.
