Good for the boyfriend. I had been thinking about how I'd react if someone I knew had been on the jury. My opinion of them would definitely go down. I'd still speak to them but wouldn't trust their judgment. If I had young kids, I think I'd probably not let my kids play at their house.

I'm still flabbergasted by this verdict. I had relatively little knowledge about the case when the trial started. I had heard Cindy's initial heartwrenching 911 call, knew that Casey had lied about Caylee being with a babysitter and that Casey had been partying, and knew that Caylee's body had been found. But I didn't know any details and it was my impression that there wasn't any real evidence against Casey.
But after listening to the trial, I thought it was a slam-dunk for the prosecution. If they didn't get a guilty verdict, I thought it might be a hung jury with one or two holdouts for innocent.
