In small/smaller towns, friends of family will set up an account at a local
bank for donations for medical bills, funeral expenses, etc. to help defray
costs of whatever problems/tragedies have belied a family.
It is a common practice, and not strange to me at all that the acct was
set up. What IS strange, is what are they saying the funds are for?
You can only use the funds for exactly what they are being raised for,
nothing else. SO, if they are saying its for searching, and they dont donate
it to EQUUSEARCH or to provide something like coffee and donuts to
searchers who show up, and instead using it for rent because Mama aint
working, then there is a big problem.
